Sounds fine to me AH . . . don't beat yourself up too much about exactitude, the odd drop of flavouring one way or another isn't going to make a vast difference to the overall end result. Unless it's a really potent flavour of course. A way of testing a concentrates intensity is to taste a drop, they are after all food flavours so you're not going to come to any harm. Whilst it's not a hard and fast gauge, it does give you a working idea how strong you might personally find them. The waiting begins now then. You may find it takes a little while longer for the flavour to develop as you're not using any nicotine, which I believe helps ' grab ' the flavour and speed the process along a little. Crikey, the taste test was a revelation! Yummy stuff. I'm not super critical about accuracy, I'm almost as laid back as Super-Shiny about stuff really! I'm not always too good with patience but Friday is not that far away. I better get the caramel done shortly too as that may be a bit more challenging in the waiting department.

Hi, after smoking for 25 years, I have managed to cut them clean out for the last six weeks. I have been using a Tornado Tank with TW Red Label Tobacco with a drop of Menthol at 18mg. I haven't missed the smellie ones at all until today. It's all going wrong, suddenly I can't stand the taste anymore but the main thing is dry throat which is really bad. Doesn't matter how much I drink I just seem to end up croaking, probably doesn't help that this device is permanently in my hand. I don't know what I am asking really, just encouragement perhaps. Or is it the device or liquid causing these problems? Any suggestions would be welcome I'm about the same amount into this as you greenbirdlady - and yes the "tempting" does happen a little every now and then, I take this to be some toxins knowing they are done for and wanting to get back into the limelight for another try. I've had sore throats and chapped lips and few other issues, I found some advice another posted here worked for me and that was a glass of milk. Seems to even start to help with taste buds going on strike too! I tell you this, there is nothing like the feeling of puling every trick you can find out of the bag and beating one of these! Keep on hanging on in there. Oh and honey and lemon is still the biz for sore throats anyway, we seem to forget the old school methods so easily these days in our "ready made, buy it in" daze we get lulled into by advertising! Go for it! Yes, I hate it too, but it does work so I am always game for going there even if it's not much fun! Lemon clears out any nasties that might be giving you a bad time and the honey soothes! Remember as a non smoker you will be prone to catching whatever is going around just a little bit easier, just like all the other non smokers normally do! That alone takes a little getting used to. I'm sure you can do this, especially if I can after 47 years or so of smoking. Oh and , they are a great bunch here!

ok, so, I just mixed as follows: 3.5ml PG 5.0ml VG 1.5ml PA Black cherry. Gives me 10ml, 15% flavour as you suggested PerpetuaI make that a 50-50 mix and accept it's got to be a little off as the VG has 10% DI-water, and flavouring claims water included as well as being PG based. Does that seem about reasonable? ??? Feels nice having got that little bit out of the way! Would have made 5ml, but my skills are not quite there yet enough to feel confident in doing those fractions of a ml right every time.

Thank you kindly. I'm getting there for sure. The tempting moments are fewer and further between them now. Not trusting myself to becoming complacent though, who knows when that would bite back, but I bet it surely can!

TPA's Black Cherry I mix at 15% it's good to vape after a couple of days . . . and TPA's Caramel Original at 20-25% and steep for 2 weeks, maybe add a little sweetener if you name is ' Super-Shiny. Both standalone percentages of course AH. Well, I shall certainly use those numbers as a guide but also take on board that, by your own frequent admission, you have no taste buds left! LOL As it happens I got some sweetener in the same pack due today as well as bavarian cream. I already got their smoother in stock as I could see where it would be good sense to have some "fix up" things in stock as a basic priority. I'd admit to "a little apprehensive" right now!

Guessing tw is totally wicked and dv is decadent vapours. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Yes, I expect it is them too! I'm not going for tobacco flavours yet, so that is probably why they have not stuck quite like some of the others have!

Remind me, who was TW and DV again, it's popped out of my poor old memory? This getting older lark is not all that at times!

Oh it does affect pre-made juices too - that's the only area I have any experience in, but I also spotted that the one where choc was involved it needed more, so I can concur! (blimey, get me, concurring indeed, whatever next! LOL) I know about mending bought in mistakes, but now I am to embark upon making my own mistakes instead! I bet I'm not so good at mending them! Oh well, it's all good practice.

My rule for steeping is 2 weeks, some try after 1 week but i stick too two. For fruits 1 week + For chocolate eternity or until i have grown a beard like Gandalf Thanks for that Super-Shiny. Looks like I would have made a right cods of that one! Being a daft old devil, I may have forgotten I made any after 2-3 weeks too! We shall have to see about a good dodge for this!

Hi folks,
I got some PA Black cherry and some PA Caramel (original) about to arrive today or tomorrow.
I have bought no nic base yet, but will play about with straight PG and VG to see how this stuff works and get used to it.
I want to get an idea for how much each would need in a proposed 50-50 mix - I'm thinking of maybe 10% of total by volume?
Also steeping time for these two specifically if you are experienced with them?
I got the rough understanding that the fruit ones maybe need a day or so, and then start becoming interesting, but others need at least a week and get quite good after maybe 3 weeks. Is this about the right way to look at these two from PA? ???

@ancient Hermit I stand corrected It's a bit of a mystery why yours flood but mine don't. I would not dream of correcting you or anyone else here! I just made it clear as to what I had found, I'm as lost as the next person as to why, but it does seem it must probably be part of "the Kanger approach to design philosophy" otherwise they would all have that tendency, or at least that is all I can guess it might be so far. I like that we just swap findings like that on here because then we can all learn from what each of us notices.

I've never installed a coil or wick I have made so far. I've not touched anything I have bought, it's all exactly as it was delivered and is held up as being 100% genuine Kanger brand kit as and where I did enquire about that. It's got to be part of the design somehow I can only suppose. I mean, what else can it be? OK, it's possible it's user error, but if the way I vape is not to Kanger's plan then a warning on the pack might have been helpful! (joke!) LOL

1,000 roll ups avoided - can't easily imagine how I have done that, but I have! Thank you, all of you, I could not have done this without the things you have all taught me.
