Two months in and no thoughts of conventional cigarettes. Never thought I would stop, just cut down BUT I have had a packet with 15 in it for two months and have not even looked at them. The thing I am enjoying most is the fresh smell in my livingroom. Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the advice and support. Just being able to come on and browse through all the posts is a great benefit.

Cinnamon is supposed to crack plastic tanks, but I have found no problem so far. Never heard of Watermelon being a problem though.

Hi effington,and welcome to the forum. The help and advice is great on here. I, too, am new to vaping (three weeks in ) and also started off with the tobacco flavor juice but very quickly tried some other flavors. For me the best are ginger, cinnamon and mint. I have found out that the flavor makes a big difference to the hit you get and I'm still experimenting. As I'm fairly new to this I cannot offer advice on equipment but I would strongly advise you to experiment with the juice, it really does make a difference.

Hi Clark, I#m a newbie myself so will leave the advice to the more experienced. What I will say is look for a shop where you can sample the juice (we have Empourium Vapour in Glasgow). Some juices you will like and some you will hate' but your taste will change fairly quickly, so don't buy in bulk to start off. Right now I am enjoying Ginger but detest Blueberry. To me the Ginger resembles what I get from the make your own cigs which, I imagine resemble rollies. Enjoy experimenting and find out what you like.

After 40 odd years of smoking, and many attempts at stopping, I have managed a whole week without smoking. I'm feeling chuffed with myself, more so because I haven't even felt the need. This forum has been a great help. Just reading the posts from others helps to focus the mind. Thanks everyone.

Well I'm new to vaping, just bought my kit on Sunday, but today I bought some Ginger juice. The guy in the shop didn't think it would be any good but I think it is amazing. Much better than the Cuban or Pepermint I got the other day, however, I suppose it depends on your taste. if you like Ginger it's worth a try but it is quite strong.

Wow! Thanks guys, I was thinking weeks rather than months or years. I fully intend to try a variety of flavours but didn't want to be running every other day to get juice. I bought 2 X 10 ml (mint and cuban) yesterday and have just realised that they will last longer than I origionally thought. Will not "bulk" buy till I find out how long the juice will last.

Thanks Perpetua. Not too sure on the make but it's the one with the clearomiser tank. Just bought the starter kit and some spare liquid. Will probably upgrade soon if all goes well, because I'm really enjoying the experience.
