It will tell you the voltage drop within the mod (contacts/tube/switch) when you subtract the reading from that across the battery itself and while an in-line voltmeter would be ideal, not everyone has one which is why I suggested a multimeter. I am afraid you signature is correct as in this case you are wrong. A bit of understanding of Ohm's Law wouldn't go amiss e.g. V(drop)= IxR As a multimeter draws virtually no current (I) - then there will be virtually no volt drop. As I said before to measure voltage drop in any mech mod, it must be under load.

Thats a bit like asking how long is a piece of string! It depends very much on the user. - What brand of cigarettes? - a lot of difference between a Silk Cut and a Gitane
- How did they smoke? - lung inhale or just throat
- How do they vape?

When you downloaded EJMU it should have arrived as a zip file (ejuicemeup.zip) - extract the files and run setup.exe.

Now we have that little misunderstanding out of the way - With regard to the ohm meter check out www.vapegeek.co.uk/Ohm-meter-66.htmAt that price its a no brainer and a lot easier to use then a multi-meter (especially as cheap multi-meters can be crap at measuring ohms)

I am a JIB electrical technician and a vaper and I am afraid your dad is wrong, there is a very real risk so ronaldo was correct in pointing out the dangers. It wasn't until your second post that you mention that you were using a regulated device which does indeed reduce some of the dangers. No one is having a go at you but if a new member reads your post and tries it with a mechanical mod then there is a real danger of something exploding.

Ego 650Mah battery or may be an Ego copy, the one with a press three times on/off/power button that lights up blue. Could me coiling it wrong have caused the battery to short or something? Thanks Paul It shouldn't have because they usually have short ct protection but I am not sure what you have there as all the EGO's I have seen are 5 click on/off. But if you are recoiling you must have a resistance checker, either an ohm meter or a mod that reads attie resistance. Recoiling without checking the resistance is just asking for trouble (as you have now found out)

I have in my inbox now about 12 emails from different people who I don't know regarding this. And every time they reply I get another bloody copy - what a farce. So who do you complain to about the press complaints commission????

@stiker42 YES definately avoid, that 4500 mAh rating is just plain lies in REAL WORLD use. I think that the just conveniently forgot the decimal point. I would expect under a proper test that you would be lucky to get more than 450mAh And just to repeat what everyone says DO NOT USE BATTERIES WITH FIRE IN THE NAMETorchys TrustFire batteries being the exception - he tests them

I would recommend the myepack kit as that contains 2 batteries. I don't think, as a starter kit, VV is necessary and could cause problems eg volts too high, burnt taste etc and a committed smoker is not going to hang around for a battery to charge - he will light up a analogue.

I have come to the conclusion that there must be a big variation of build quality with these atties. If you get a good un np My fogger v3 was my first RBA and I bought it with much trepidation. However every build I put in it has worked flawlessly - no leaks, no gurgles & no dry hits. Have you tried the Poo build that Todd did in his review? - that was my first and worked fine. I am now on micro coil & cotton and again np. Sorry if that wasn't much help
