jaysey the spring on mine from there was useless hence why i wished i had got a haygar nemi 1st(ive ended up using a spring out of a car ciggy lighter lol) i thinks the little gold ring is supposed to just make it pretty and it might be for useing button top batts ,but mine is so poorly made that its useless(the gold ring) i have a kayfun clone on mine and it works well now but its still fiddly as fook to take the switch out and in to replace batts keep it till you get a haygar one then put it in a draw and keep it for spares not impressed to be honest ! The gold wearing of the lock ring already ! ! Want a ss one but a decent clone ! Il persevere with it for now ! But only less than a tenner so shouldn't expect too much ! Got some magnets coming to rectify the annoying clicky switch ! Tbh I found magnets make the clicky worse, as for clones the hcigar one I have is excellent although tbf my focal one is working good now after a bit of switch tweaking. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/39254/cheapy-nemesis-switch-improvement?page=1&scrollTo=680125I've also chopped a piece off the end of a 2mm drill bit for the little pin, works way better, nicer fit.

Having a strange problem with my old protank, probably me but not sure. Have recoiled an wicked with micro and cotton an its vaping great but there seems to be juice gathering on the shoulders under the drip tip so occationly I end up with a mouthful of juice. Any ideas what might be causing it? I was thinking about the rubber cap at bottom of chimney? Cheers This is one of the reasons I never use cotton and micro in those type of coil heads, leak leak gurgle tastes bloody awful with a gob full of juice. 2mm silica, wrap a few wraps of thin kanthal, I use .18mm, round the silica, fit it to the head, fold the silica over the top, fit the cap and trim the wick. Since using this method there's not been a single issue for months, it just keeps on working perfect vape after vape.

I'll carry on trying to tell people it's not their fault but you guys can feel free to tell them they're a bit crap As for silica over cotton for taste that's a matter of opinion and very subjective, I like both myself but can't use silica with a chimney coil build. My point was that it's actually not that difficult to get one working great. I'm not an experienced coil maker by any stretch. It just needs a little time, patience and practice I really hope my willy is bigger than yours!

Of course it's their fault if they haven't built it correctly, who else caused it not to work The point of the forum surely is for new users of a particular device to learn the tips and tricks to correct their errors. No one called anyone crap, just inexperienced with this device as we all were once. My willy is bigger than yours

Yeah, I had a spool with to much on it. As soon as I took the tape off the whole thing went twang! Won't be using them again. Can't really blame them because you didn't use your loaf though lol, what did you think would happen? I've got 7 spools of wire here from them, great stuff and service is always good. Got mesh and some other bits as well. I cut slots into the sides so you can lock the wire in place. Latest batch is .5 and .6mm kanthal as well as some ribbon stuff, got some experimenting to do ha ha

Im expecting some golden rolie ( FW ) and ?RY4 IS mixing these just like mixing fruit/ect ? What kind of % should i start with Is that flavour art golden rollie concentrate? If so I sometimes stick a few drops into the caramel blend I get from joose juice, takes the edge off the sweetness just fine. Personally I'd try like 5% of it to 15% of the RY4 to start with, it's a pretty strong flavour that one.

Ego batteries are electronically controlled though so should be a consistent 3.6v then dead, shouldn't be any variation like you get with a mech mod.

You've been messing with kayfuns for while now though but for people newer to them I'd say go with the regular silica and coil build. Cotton can be a tricky one to get right and often needs practice to get the right balance between air, wick and coil.

Hi guys I've tried and tried to build a micro coil for my kayfun lite. I've followed super shineys method and a few other tutorials. It all goes well and looks the part until after using it for 10 mins I start getting a slight burnt taste. Any ideas?? It's sooo frustrating!! Thanks Don't use a micro and cotton unless you're doing a chimney build otherwise just use the regular silica and normal coil, that's my advice. The wick doesn't seem to be able to keep up with cotton and micro in the kayfun imo. Works on a twin coil set up but then you're using twice as much cotton but with a single it doesn't seem to be enough wick.
