Can't really blame them because you didn't use your loaf though lol, what did you think would happen? I've got 7 spools of wire here from them, great stuff and service is always good. Got mesh and some other bits as well. I cut slots into the sides so you can lock the wire in place. Latest batch is .5 and .6mm kanthal as well as some ribbon stuff, got some experimenting to do ha ha The spool was too small for the amount of wire, and of too small a diameter. It was also poorly wound so the wire was all creased and crumpled. The wire was heaped out of the top higher than the sides. There was no way i could have cut a slot into it. I did manage with the other spool i got. Here are a couple of shots of the one I didn't have to throw away .25 - the .32 was the same length so more bulky. The one on the bottom is how I expect the stuff to come. On a good sized spool, neatly wound.   Did you speak to them about it? If you have any issues just get in touch, I always allow for a bit of error where humans are involved. My wire has always arrived in good nick with no kinks or any other issues, i would just drop them an email saying what the problem is, I think you'll find them helpful. |
