I use Liberty Flights (SLB) LR901s - apart from one which died after a day, the others have all lasted a very long time (40ml of juice or more).

(I posted this on UKV, but as the Drip Shields are popular over here I thought a repost was warranted...)
When I got my first Empire Drip Shield, I noted the blurb that came with it claimed it would increase atty life. I therefore have kept a record...
The result - an average of approximately 60ml of juice through each LOW RES 901 atty. Evidence of increased life I'd say?
I have a theory that the Apex Ultra series RES has the same effect - it should have the general effect of cooling the atty - but so far I've only run one 1.5 ohm Cisco 306 through it - that lasted about 55ml...

I can now reveal more - a quote from Kevin of VP Live on IVC:
I look forward to doing it. I'm going to have Cisco and Chad (creator of the Silver Bullet) joining me and interviews from prof beard, Dave from SuperT, Imeo and Drew from Nhaler

Don't know - kevin says he emailed him but didn't get a response (maybe he didn't see the email) - trog knows the event is on - if he prefers not to take part in a live discussion I can understand that, lots of people don't like doing that sort of thing. It's easy for me - I'm a professional gasbag...

I thought some of you might be interested in knowing that I've recorded a 15min interview as part of the "Tribute to Trog and Screwdriver" show being broadcast this Sunday at 9pm EST (you can listen to the recording of the whole show afterwards - it's 2am our time!) vapersplace.com/vplive/The live part of the show has some major mod manufacturers participating - as Kevin hasn't put them up on the site I won't spoil the surprise, but suffice to say a lot of you have devices made by them. (Needless to say trog isn't taking part )

Ok so lets say i had 1 180mah battery 510 SR Atty 1 900mah battery 510 SR Atty Would there be a difference in vapor or would it be the same. The reason im asking these questions is because ive tried a few devices not on different voltages as im just getting into that.So how can people say one device causes more? If the same battery technology is being used, when freshly charged you wouldn't expect a difference - the bigger battery would supply its best performance for far longer though - the little one would drop off rapidly... (With the caveat that Dave mentioned though - in the case you have picked that shouldn't be an issue)

Whilst there ARE differences between the "battery holder" bit of devices due to resistance/materials used etc, my view is that these variations are neglible and vapour is function of voltage/atomiser/juice. And current, Prof - people place too much store in voltage, but a high voltage at low current capability produces a lower wattage - and it's the watts that count. You can stick a very capable atty on a device that is not capable of producing the required current, and it'll wimp out. It's one of the reasons I've moved almost exclusively to IMR High Drain batteries - I need to know that they'll deliver >10 watts without barfing. Protected 18650s tend to be current limited to <2.5 amps, often quite a bit lower, and that doesn't provide the wattage I need. Fair point Dave. In my test they all had equivalent quality batteries and I was using 1.7ohm atties. I haven't hit the problem you describe myself - I'm using both high drain and standard protected AWs in my Apex and can't say I've noticed a difference...

I thought about this and came to the conclusion that my ideal would be a Screwdriver made by Super T (Possibly with the option of an Apex type RES accessory, or with a drip shield made by Super T)
