Thanks everyone. I am going to go over the Dr. to get tested for PG allergy. I started on E cigs after nearly 2 years of no smoking as I was always so stressed. My stress levels never got down to what they were when I smoked, I mean, after nearly 2 years whenever a stressful event came along I would be at screaming point, wasn't nice to be around and wasn't happy. The moment I had nicotine again, I was a lot lot calmer and could cope. I would happily vape forever if I could have no side effects. I don't think its a medical problem (I have lots of health problems) and I do get B12 jabs regularly. I feel the dizziness and sleepiness is associated with the E cigs. Checked out the net and there are others with the same problems, but no clear answers. I never had a problem with munching on the nicotine lozenges when I first gave up the cigs. I used to get the brief dizziness if I ate too many, but not waking up next day and feeling off balance all day nor the sleepiness.

Thanks for the replies. I will try getting the unflavoured liquid in a lower nicotine strength and see if my symptoms ease off. If that works, then I will experiment with different flavours. Seems the best way to go.
Thanks again for the advice.

I stopped smoking 2 years ago and started vaping around 3 months ago. I have found that the PG gives me flushing and headaches but I don't get this with the VG. But, I am getting more and more tired. To start with, this was a good thing. I had only been sleeping 4 hours a night and was suffering badly with insomnia (on no cigarettes or vaping), so when the vaping made me sleep I was pleased, but now, I am tired all the time and sleeping loads. Also, I have had two days of feeling really dizzy. I am now hooked on nicotine again, so don't want to give up the E cigs and haven't touched a real cigarette in 2 years. Could this be the flavouring in the E liquid do you think? I am on 100% 18mg VG liquid from Puffin. Has anyone any idea what ingredients are used in the flavourings in these E liquids?
Not sure where to go from here, is there anywhere to get pure nicotine and VG and no added flavouring (or would that taste rubbish).
Any help appreciated.

Thanks Guys but its not the virus. I held out and had nothing from yesterday afternoon and the throat has gone off. I read a load of stuff online of people having this closing up lump in throat sore throat (like tonsilitus) with the E cigs. I cant work out whether its an allergic reaction or what but people are getting it with certain juices and not others, some say its the PG but I got worse on the VG. I want to get some pure 100% VG juice UK made, can anyone tell me the best place to get this? By the way, can anyone shed any light on where all this stuff comes from? It looks like most of it comes from China (even though bits are made in the USA or UK etc.)

Hello again. After giving up the cigs for 18 months I started to vape on an E Lite, I noticed they made my face flushed and gave me headaches. I then bought a vip Jacvapour starter kit and ordered some 11mg VG juice (not sure how much PG is in with this juice, although I think there is some). I found the PG juice was giving me headaches and that burning sore throat, so I have been trying the VG, good result on the headaches, they are down to mild, but my throat now feels almost like I have tonsilitus. Like that lump in throat, sore throat (if you know what I mean). I am just getting over a virus and am now wondering if its the virus coming back or if its the VG liquid (I thought VG was meant to be better for the throat). I have also felt very tired and not right in myself. Has anyone experience this lump in throat type thing and has it got better with 100% VG. I don't think my juice is 100% VG. I have just stupidly ordered 18mg PG juice (big bottle) so I am now getting fed up with money going down the drain. Wondering whether to get some 100% pure "good quality" VG juice to try. Any advice appreciated.

Enjay, if you get some answers, please post as I have been having the same problem. I tried the VG juices but prefer the PG but get flushed cheeks and headaches all the time. I am on 18mg strength as any lower and I was vaping continuously and getting no satisfaction and I had given up cigarettes and nicotine for 18 months! I am hoping its just getting used the nicotine again.

Thanks again. I have put all the suggestions for upgrades on my favourites for later. I have only just paid out £54 for this kit so want to get some use out of it. I am trying the longer puffs but still not enough nicotine. I am trying out the VG juice at 11mg now and its like sucking on fresh air. Have just ordered prefilled 18mg strength carts, to see if I can get the strength right, this is all a learning process, it seems.

Thanks again for so much advice. I had the pre filled PG carts that came with the starter kit and also I got some VG juice in tobacco and Red to try. I can say I am not getting satisfaction from any of them. Before I got the kit I had an E Lite, that's PG, I was vaping on that all day as well, and never got enough of the nicotine hit. I must admit, I find it weird. I smoked for 30 years and the last 10 years I only smoked 12 a day of Marlborough Lights. I think I will probably order some 18 mg carts or juice and see how I get on. Its not a case of giving up for me as I did that and found that my stress levels went through the roof even after 18 months off the cigarettes so I want the nicotine, I am much happier and calmer with it, I just want to to get the right levels.

Thanks for all the information. Great forum this! Yes, I have the cig look alike kit (fool me), I should have gone for one of the others mentioned. Wont be long before I upgrade. In the meantime, I will get some stronger nicotine carts (as mentioned) and see if that works. One more question, has anyone any idea why I get liquid in my mouth sometimes with the prefilled carts? Thanks Christine

Hello. I just joined recently and after reading reviews, got myself a kit from Jacvapour. I had given up cigarettes for 18 months but needed something due to stress and the E cig fits the bill. Problem is, I am using it all day all the time and am slightly worried about how much nicotine I may be taking in. I got the one with 12 mg carts and I got some VG juice at the same time. It doesn't seem to make any difference how much I vape, I never get satisfied (not as I did with a cigarette). Plus, I seem to have been on the loo more and a few more headaches. Is this too much nicotine intake? If so, how do you guys manage to get it down. I was wondering if a higher mg of nicotine would be better or maybe going to a really low one. How many cigarettes is one cart equivalent to? I seem to be getting through a cart a day. Thanks for any help. Christine

OK. I am looking at the Myepack and Jacvapour, I still want a cig like E Cig at the moment. Which of these would be the nearest to the E Lite for flavour? Although I want to try the VG juice. Are either of these supplied with VG filled ends for me to try? This E Lite is definitely giving me headaches, even after just starting the day with it. Thankyou kind people, for your advice. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Loads of good information there. I never thought about dehydration. I will up the fluid intake. The Vype never gave me headaches, just the E Lites but then I am using it a lot more. I agree I am probably using overpriced and the more rubbish brands, I want to get on to something better eventually, it would be nice to be able to test something out though before spending out too much on one I didn't like, shame they don't do samples of all of them! After 18 months of no cigarettes, my stress levels were still much higher than before when I smoked, as soon as I had a nicotine supply again I am much calmer, so I want to continue to use an E cig. Thanks Discodes, the high VG liquid E Cig sounds like good advice. I will check out the vendors section on the forum. Christine

Hello. I gave up cigarettes 18 months ago, but due to stress bought myself an E Cig from the shop. I have tried two. The Vype, (like smoking fresh air) and the E-Lite which I have been happy with for the time being (but its giving me terrible headaches, flushing and migraines!) I am prone to migraine but this is constant. I read that there are two contents to the E cigs, Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin and that maybe the Vegetable Glycerin wouldn't cause the headaches. Can anyone confirm this and most importantly, can someone point me in the direction of an E-Cig that is similar to the E-Lite that has the Vegetable Glycerin and hopefully I wont get the bad heads.
Thanks for any information. Christine
