'What goes around comes around.' If you help out others, they will run around to help you when you need it. True, but not so important. This Karma thing is more than a little wonderful by way of concept. I help Tracy building a coil, Tracy helps Tim fix his car, Tim helps Tabitha with the dry stone wall, Tabitha helps Trevor by looking after his pooch and out of the blue, Freda helps me fix the guttering (Freda I'd exceptionally tall). No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted

I'm really a tight git, but I read your signature/footer and thought I'll try anything once. And having tried, I hope you found it worthy of trying (I reckon you did). And yes VapingBad, I was referencing your taste in music (but not you alone)

vinny41 be welcome here. I'll also plug the VTR - it's a really sturdy mod. Be aware that the steel ones are fingerprint magnets like I've never seen before (but a wrap will hide that). The Army Green ones are better in that respect. The only two flaws are - That to use a 22mm diameter attomiser (which you may sometime in the future, depending on whether or not this evolves into a hobby and if so which direction it takes) then it will sit above the mod useing the included unless you cut through the upper ring.
- The display screen stands proud by about 1mm which means, again without a wrap of sufficient width, it's easy to scratch if your careless.
An iTaste carry pouch makes the VTR reasonably practical to sit on a sturdy belt for out-and-about (£13+p&p from myepack) Won't reduce the weight though The Itaste 134 is rather lovely but big, even for a tube mod stuffed with electronics. Saying that, it's a fantastic mod. I'm guessing both these two sit well with your budget. Also consider The Spire as sold by Cloud 9 Vaping for a similar price to MyEpack - a friend has one and is over the moon with it. As lairey said, the Vamo is a good and cheaper alternative. Finally, in the higher end of the market , there is the astounding Semovar (roughly twice the price) of the Innokin products. Or a Hana Modz DNA 30 (genuine sold by Midlands Vaping - only a couple left) - this one may be overkill though as it's possible to take it upto 30 Watts if the battery is appropriate and you've got an attomiser which will do it justice. Personally, if I wanted a VW mod and I could afford it, I'd buy the Semovar (partly because of the modular design), otherwise the VTR, I owned a VTR for a couple of weeks and was impressed (although I fell foul to scratching the screen). I sold it because I then discovered mechanical mods and knew someone who really wanted a VTR but could not afford the new price. I haven't used a zMax so that is excluded from my personal recommendation equation.

Used to be between 20 and 30 a day, variously roll-ups, straights and then roll-ups again. Now probably 1 every 2 days (on average, normally first thing when I'm not very together, but occasionally after an evening meal). I'm not sure how I've slipped back into it but I shall persevere and cease. One in 3 are discarded almost immediately after lighting, not that that makes it so much better. Damn - confessed. Nothing cathartic there.

It's funny - when I came into the vaping world, I was amazed by peoples kindness both in gifts of time and material things (I suddenly found myself with an SVD, AGA T2 and an 18650 through the kindness of a UKV member and thus my journey accelerated). Naturally I paid it forward. And felt quite good about it. Since then, it's been apparent that such acts of kindness are the norm. I look back at all the on-line communities I've been involved in since the Usenet days and I can't think of another group of people who are so near uniformly altruistic. And there are those with exemplary musical taste to boot.

That "new" button on the forum menu bar is a boon (as is Timeline within Tapatalk). Without which I wouldn't have found this. robby, many thanks - this is beautifully presented and very clear.

Slightly off topic - Clumsy me has dropped a couple of mods - a stainless steel stingray clone and a copper nemesis clone. Both buttons askew. Nemesis is functional (I managed to bend it back into shape a little with layers of marigold gloves between centre post and pliers - not sure how to disemble the bottom of the switch (I don't think it's a single unit - must be a push fit or something). However, I returned the stingray button to normal functioning status by dint of a thin flat bladed screw driver as a lever in the vent slots (making it an easy fix). The dropping of the Nemesis proved to be a boon - the impact created a malformed lip on the locking ring which was prone to seizing in the unlocked position (threads appeared so smooth it easily spun to a hard stop). I now have a grip point - no more reach for a strip off a Marigold kept in the wallet when out.
I hope you manage / managed to free it without damage.

Don't forget other factors that play with both taste and nicotine absorption....
There's a world of difference between say, a Kanger MT3, a Kayfun and a Trident (for instance) RDA....
For instance, I vaped between 24mg/ml and 18mg in my first clearos (MT3, until I observed the polycarbonate degrading) but when I was using RBA's and I put 18mg RY4 into it I was whoa - that's way too much nicotine (hint, 12mg is the most you ever want to vape in a Kayfun - absorption is much higher)....
Likewise flavour - a standard Protank head vs one you've rebuilt..... Big difference... Then try the same in a Kayfun or a nice RDA and you'll never go back.
Not sure this post is remotely helpful so mark it under the `just saying` category in case it inspires a reader to experiment some more.

I try not to post dark music when I'm like that, so I'm not posting Lou Reed's The Bed (chances are I'll ruin someone's night that way) No am I going to cheat and post Doctors of Madness's B-Movie Bedtime (which is a good pick-me-up track as it reflects some of the best and worst times, although I should add that it's not strictly reflecting upon my life in the obvious ways). Instead I post what I believe to be a love song, although it's a tough one in it's own right. So here, just before bed, after vaping a little too much Snake Oil, I offer Amanda F'cking Palmer's The Bed Song
There's a rather lovely page on Neil Gaiman's blog somewhere explaining in part how it was written.

Quick! Write to your local Tory/LibDem MP pointing out the evidence (ASH) and suggesting they make political capital... If you can't bring yourself to talk to them for ethical or political reasons, write to the local Labour MP and point out the embarrassment and ammunition that he is giving his opponents.

Now if I was a politician, struggling under the weight of scientific and statistically relevant information yet utterly entrenched with my campaign, I may have been tempted to go beyond making capital out of this inevitability and even seed a few girls, through an intermediary (probably two levels of...) to make the purchases...
Sorry... That's naughty of me.
However, I'm pleased that these eleven year olds are buying electronic cigarettes rather than real ones. I would much prefer local councils to be considerably more rigorous and prevent the purchases in the first place...

Just wanted to step back in to this old thread. I ordered a bunch of juice for a friend in Melbourne... Lots of Steamgunk and lots of darkstar, + some treats like Mrs Lord's Spotted Dick, Snake Oil, local B&M juices (Hangsen, Vamp Vapes). Two forms of feedback... One my anti-delight of receiving a red card which turned out to be a returned juice box (Oz Posties aren't the best in the world, it seems), which contains amongst other things half my Darkstar order. The second being a review of juices (I really didn't know what my friend would take to as her taste buds returned)... With a couple of complex premium (bespoke) exceptions, the juice maker of choice is resoundingly Darkstar. Of course, the bespoke stuff she hasn't received (but will in a few days) can't be included in the comparison... Too much detail... So... here be a `hats off` to Rob - thank you. More shall be ordered (I somewhat over-ordered so it may be a little while before I place another). Tom

Lou Reed and Nico I'll be your mirror. Something particularly honest about the sound engineering on this version

In fairness, that was a long time ago, BrenD. It might be kinder to take a `what's done is done` approach (I can think of one vendor here of whom I'm supportive who's made at least one extremely foolish Customer Experience move). Yes - what happened was wrong, stupid and rapidly escalated (and good grief, what looked like a sock puppet on UKV) but I look at their page (I've not seen the site before) and I'm reasonably impressed by the amount of information they are putting out there (esp use of youtube videos). So... not sure. Damage done for certain but I believe quiet strongly in reconciliation and forgiveness for most things.
