So my device goes flying from my pocket in the street on Monday, I can tell straight away that my beloved glass drip tip is a goner, but don't realise that the Pyrex tank has also suffered a fatal injury until I pick the mod up and get a handful of juice and glass. This is bad enough, but I'd gone cold turkey over the weekend whilst waiting on a juice delivery. Bugger!
Not to worry I think to myself, I have a spare tank indoors! and I'm five minutes from home, Just as well I had the foresight to buy a replacement when I bought the atty. Hooray!
My joy is short lived when I realise that not only is the replacement tank internal diameter slightly too wide for the 'O' rings to seal against it, the tank itself is 3mm longer than the old one. Bugger!
I'm guessing the replacement tank glass I have is for an original Kraken, and they've made the clone slightly smaller, that or Fasttech simply messed up. Bugger!
I had a few more atty's that I could press into service but the Kraken is my 'go to', I had it performing just right. Bugger!
I can use slightly thicker 'O' rings and get away with it, but I'm not particularly relishing cutting the tank down. The only bit of kit I have that'll do the job is a wet tile cutter with a diamond blade. Bugger!

They're not superior jevans. It's all in their heads. Most people use twisted wire to save having too many types. In my case, to use up loads of .2 kanthal I bought ages ago. I can't say I totally agree, the twisted coils I've made do give a much stronger flavour and a bigger nicotine hit albeit at the expense of juice. The .3 ohm triple twist I made is a beast of a coil, the throat hit off that one was overwhelming.

I don't get this, according to the coil calculator I have, nine turns of triple twist @ .32 over a 14g needle (1.2mm) = around .3 ohms. I tried it myself with pretty much the same result, the coil metered at .3 ohms. However nine turns of triple twist @ .23 over a 14g needle (1.2mm) = around .7 ohms, which is close enough to the op's result.

We had a few problems with the website but everything is now back to normal Still a few good deals to grab! www.e-senses.co.uk You're telling me! I placed an order last night for 2x 30ml 18mg BH son using Paypal, it got returned to your site with some null script thing and an empty basket so I tried again, same thing, so I tried once more. Success! This morning I find that I've actually bought six bottles. I'm not impressed.

SWMBO's itaste has developed fire button problems and the display is showing an open circuit=no atty, so it's time to have this baby apart and see what's going on. As there isn't much on the net about taking one of these apart, I thought I'd just go for it and see what happened. 1st mistake, don't bother trying to get the five top rivets out, I centre punched mine ready for drilling before I realised that it's only the bottom single rivet that needs to be removed. The whole inner assembly slides out once the bottom rivet is free, the only thing holding the guts in at this point is the hot wire to the centre pin. I've established the problem, it's a dodgy negative connection, a relatively easy fix. This is the innards removed from the casing. A photo of the board containing the firing button, it slides into a groove in the top cap. The problem is circled, that blob of solder is the negative connection. It relies on contact alone to make the circuit as the top cap can't be soldered to, it's not a great design TBH. My fix was to solder a wire to the solder pad above the circle, (the real negative connection), and fold it up around the top cap, this traps it between the cap and the casing. I made a new case from an old towel rail! (should have wiped the fingerprints off first!) The original got really scratched up from getting the rivets out, it was a bit of a mess in the end. The finished item, it works properly now. I glued the top cap and bottom section with epoxy, I didn't fancy trying to rivet the thing back together.

I had similar issues. How I got around it was to wrap the magnet/copper insert in one layer of tin foil, then screw it back into the Delrin spacer, the magnet/insert is not much thicker than the spacer so if it's screwed too much toward the battery side it won't fire as there's no contact with the fire button.

My humble opinions.
Watermelon 18mg
Tested in a Kraken atty using a 1ohm coil on mesh. Flavour is spot on, however way too sweet for my taste buds, I found it somewhat overpowering half way through the tank so that's as far as I got with this juice. It's a shame because I really wanted something as a change from tobacco flavours. Atty needed washing out three times to get rid of the smell/taste, it's strong this one!
Vapour 8/10 Flavour10/10 Throat hit 7/10
Virginia Tobacco 18mg
Tested in a Kraken atty using a 1ohm coil on mesh. I could not pin down the top note smell of this one when I first opened the bottle, it reminded me of something from my childhood. The I realised what it was, the smell one gets when getting close to the popcorn stall at a fair. I reckon this juice will improve with age as the popcorn effect is diminishing over time, taste wise it's not a bad tobacco flavour overall but once again, just a tad too sweet for me.
Vapour 9/10 Flavour 8/10 Throat hit 9/10
Thanks to OFIR LTD for the opportunity to try these juices.

+1 for the Kraken, I have a few RBA's now and the Kraken is the No1 because its so easy to set up.

ive just got the clone from ft and set it up with a single wick and cotton. liking it very much i was wondering if i could use dual coils with it on my provari? ive never tried a 2 coil set up before so im quite clueless. i have .20 and .28 kanthal wire and prefer cotton wicks. i have a tobh, rose and magma on the way from china along with a dna 30, so i think i need to learn about dual coils I can't comment on the Provari because I don't own one, however I do own a Kraken and I've ran it in dual coil mode (.23 kanthal@ .8 ohms) with stainless mesh wicks on a mech mod, which I found to be a bit too harsh so I'm back to a single coil set up. Dual coils can be a bit confusing because the target resistance depends on the gauge of Kanthal and the amount of wraps in the coil, a dual coil of 4 wraps per coil using .20 Kanthal will be around .8 ohms, the same set up using .28 Kanthal will be around .4 ohms. Have a play with this it will give you a better idea of the combinations than my feeble attempts!

An MP's package is pretty good by any standard, take into consideration the basic salary, expenses, perks, plenty of time away from Westminster, and a gold plated pension that most people could only dream of. All this for no particular skills whatsoever.
