I had a list of info on the certain Dr. Neal L. Benowitz, MD - but when I read that his internship was spent giving enemas I thought that was just about right and deleted the rest.
Write to him at: UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco Gen Hosp, 1001 Potrero Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. Phone: (415) 206-8317 - ask for MEDICINE ROOM 5H-22

Holy crap you really think they could be rewrapped ICR batteries? I though maybe rewrapped LG's. Give these ones a wide berth whatever they are. I certainly wouldn't buy them. Further investigation: From the crimp at the top they actually look like the same base cells as Imren rewrap. Imren also quote 40Amp, but this is the Peak current. This is a common trend these days, the battle of numbers to make profit. Imren in their bumpf also suggest a max continuous of 32Amp. We've been here before! You could get the cell Imren use, which is recommended to stay 20Amps or below. Or you could get a chinese roman candle. That's your gamble. 'd by VapingBad.

Good to have them knock on ya door and ask ya - ooh the memories of my experience. I'm now the local police go-to with regards vaping gear, the local 'beat bobby' (yh, still have them in Yorkshire) calls in for a weekly coffee to see what I'm mixing and the latest shinies. There's no point him going to the local vape shops to look at all the egos and CE4&5s (they're all just making money from relabled chinese juice). I hope you make this grade, they are the good guys after all. There's a note somewhere on the PNC, against my address, to ignore any reports of a druggie 'shooting up' in the kitchen. Couple of months you'll still be laughing, maybe a little harder Oh free rein then Naughty naughty

Er - nope. Simple fact - there are no genuine 18650s out there over 30Amps. If there were, they'd come from a company that could afford to develope them, someone like Sony, LG or Samsung. Have a read of the comments there - they're just taking the pi** out of the quoted ratings. A little warning here. A quick google for '18650 3000mah' images brings a lot of *******FIRE results, so being from china the chances are they are a rewrapped, dangerous ICR battery.

Only thing I can add to what's already been posted hijack is the leg-length you're using in steam engine. I suggest - as they're full turns on the coil - is to measure the distance between the inside edges of the post screws and divide by 2 for the leg length. It'll be more accurate than guessing or trying to actually measure them.

I know it's against ToS to run ad-block on Proboards, but I wonder if people getting the warning aren't running any kind of ad block, and it's a rogue advert causing the issues? Great point - as AdBlock actually 'breaks' the pages to do it's thing.

I always love a good 'this AV is better than that' or 'reasons not to install that AV' conversation. The best AV is safe practice. Don't visit dodgy sites. Places like Web of Trust carry lists of these and you can get a plugin for your webbrowser that'll warn you about these dodgy sites before it'll let the page open. I only ever open emails I'n expecting, which is virtually every email I get since spam assassin takes care of my inbox server side. I don't run AV. Last AV I ran was avast, back in 2004. Since then I've never had a problem. Online scan yearly at eset has never thrown anything up. The best AV in the world is YOU - with a little self-training

Thanks Chrissie I've retitled this thread as the discussiob thread. If anyone thinks I should add another battery or any other infomation we'll dicuss it here. If you think it would be better in one of the other forums feel free to move it Chrissie

Trying to choose a battery for your new shiny thing? Blooming minefield isn't it? So many different things to consider. It certainly isn't easy. What makes things worse is vendors quoting the maximum Pulse rating, when what we're interested in is the CDR (continuous discharge rate). Once onto your journey you will come to understand what all the numbers mean, and build yourself a collection of 'good' batteries. In the meantime there is NO easy way to learn.
To that end we've compiled an easy 'reference' guide to make it easier to choose a battery. They are listed by power (for regulated mods) and minimum coil resistance (for mechanical mods) to make it easier for you to make those first choices. The wimps have already been weeded out. Once you know what power you need the only 2 other things you want to consider are the mAh (higher generally gives longer running times) and the price.
So what if my regulated mod needs 2 or 3 batteries? Divide the mod's power by 2 for 2 batteries, or 3 for 3 batteries to make your choice. So 3 LG HE4s would be good for a 150Watt 3 battery mod.
There. I've tried to keep it simple. If you have a specific query you can always ask - questions are free.
Further valuable reading regarding the maintenance of these batteries can be found in the Battery Safety and Charging Guide Another good read regarding battery types and going a little further into a battery's specs can be found here
Credits to all contributers to this guide. Too many to list but special thanks to VapingBad and hijack .
