Also depends on what device you use as vv/vw mods have an Amp limit, or a maximum power limit that will mean you will only get out of it what it will allow. So putting a 1.5 ohm coil in a 6v/15w mod and using it in voltage mode, wont allow you to get 24W by turning it up to 6v.

Thicker wire will give less resistance so .3 wire should let you get 7-8 wraps for 1.5Ohm. A mech will use the power directly from the battery there is no regulation, you just build a coil that will give the power output you are looking for. eg A 1.5 ohm coil used on a mech will use 11.76 watts on a fresh battery(4.2V) and will decrease as the batteries voltage drops. You can work out how much power is being used by using a calculator like steamengine just use 4.2 as your voltage and put in the resistance and it will tell you how much power it will use. if you drop the voltage you will see how the power drops as the voltage drops. Most will make their coil so it vapes high at the start and still gives a good vape down to 3.5V. When it gets to around 3.5V they change the battery over and its back to full power.
Take a look at using a mech There is some info that may help and the video is pretty good at explaining things.

So what did you go for doctorjellybean? I'm still undecided, especially as I have seen the iTaste SVD for £75, complete with batteries and charger. Talk about confusion You can get the SVD even cheaper link. Pitty that the express kit is out of stock as you can get that for 39.99 but they do have the full kit in stock.

I think it depends on the resistance and higher resistance coils >2.4 can struggle to hit 15W But a 1.5 using a 18650 hit 15w ok PBasardo has done his thing with the oscilloscope, and it seems to perform very well with a 18650 around the 1.5 Ohm range. PBasardo SVD

I use ecoluxshop as well for my vtc5's. Got 2 of them and went for free delivery. They arrived recorded delivery and they had put one of those plastic protective carry cases in for free as well. They didn't put the batteries in the case for posting mind you ??? just put the case in the bag with the loose batteries. Everything was ok though, good ebay shop.

No its an 18650 ruffdog Why do say you can only go to 11w? I think the mod has a 5A limit and 15W limit whichever it hits first
The steamengine calculator I noticed has a new Mod range section on it steamengine Don't know how useful it is but I think it can give a gauge between max power and adjustability on your VV/VW mod.

Actually that seven30 doesn't look as big as I thought it would look. I wonder if those new giant tanks at 30mm would be flush aerotank giant?

Wow, I posted that a week ago and thought everyone would wet themselves laughing. Now a week later everyone is.
I did find a home for it in the end.
I think that boy racer comment might be spot on.

ecolux do the same battery, Panny branded, cheaper. I use them in my mechanical mods, down to 1.2 ohm, without any issue. I like the Ecolux shop as well. They gave one of those protective plastic cases for free when I got my vtc5's from them. Trouble was they didn't put the batteries in the case when they posted them they were loose in the bag with the case put in there as well. Never mind they were ok, no harm done.
