I agree with Cousin Itt. I don't notice that much difference between the clearo's, but the difference between the KFL and the clearo's was night and day. Im now waiting on a Taifun to see how that compares.

Either of those batteries are fine for the vamo, Its just down to the capacity the red's are 2000 but I think you can get purple in 3100. The discharge rate is less for the 3100 but wont be an issue as the vamo wont fire below 1 Ohm so a 6A or greater battery is fine. That efest 35A purple is actually a 20A LG battery and efest decided to print the peak discharge rate on the label and not the continuous discharge rate that other makers use. EDIT EDIT: should be noted that Li-Ion (the link above) is not considered as safe a battery chemistry as IMR. Don't be tempted by the higher mAh ratings. Stick to IMR for safety Although the NCR's are Li-Ion, so do contain the more volatile chemistry, Panasonic have addressed the safety issues inherent with LI-Ion by designing some passive protection within the make-up of this paticular battery. They have what Panasonic call HRL(heat resistant layer)which is supposed to stop the battery overheating even when short circuited. I believe there is also a CID(current interrupt device) and PTC(Positive temperature coefficient) device, which works by increasing the internal resistance of the battery if it were to start overheating which results in drop-off in the current output.
My apologies as I didn't go into this in my battery buying guide and just listed the NCR in the list of safe batteries without explaining why they were there.
The NCR Li-Ion are definitely safer than pretty much every other Li-Ion.

I keep some of my various battery and switch magnets wrapped up and store them in the brass and copper small tube sections you get with the mixed mods to shield them and stop everything from sticking to them. It works, up to a point.

Hi silas welcome to the forum. There's a whole army of vapers coming from cornwall these days. Well done on making the change over.

Hey mowjo loved reading about your mixing in a hairspray lid had me laughing for ages picturing it. Still not sure if you were serious or just pulling our legs. You have to try a custard even if you end up not liking it. I didn't like aniseed but vaping it is totally different, its a bit strong on its own but if you put a bit in a mix, like a tobacco or a fruit, its really nice.

Anyway, I tried to fit the adaptor thing someone advised me to buy (the one to preserve the thread of the vtr) but it won't seem to fit and vtr wont work at all with it on.... didn't want to force it.... Did I order the wrong thing? >>> myepack.co.uk/accessories/airflow-control-valve.html and if so can anyone tell me what I should have bought, any help would be greatly appreciated cheers Mel That airflow is a replacement base for the protank, you can still use it to add airflow to the protank, I think you just swap it for the base that came with the protank.
The ones that were suggested for protecting the vtr threads were these link You can screw them on to the vtr and tighten them down so the threads don't wear out when you take a tank on and off.
It just stays in place when you refill or change tank over

Another vtr fan. I've noticed quite a few saying they had got one recently. Its a shame ive not used mine in a while. I think its down to not wanting to carry it in my pocket as it feels twice as heavy in this weather. Gizmo has replaced it as my out and about mod.

That efest 3100 should last you all day and night easily. My VTR has been ok with red efest button top, Purple efest flat tops, and sony VTC 5's. There may be slight differences in the VTR as I know some have had issues with certain batteries fitting. It may be down to which production line it came off. Let me know if the 3100 fits ok as that is one high capacity battery for an IMR.

Hi touchyandalou Looks like you have got some good advice. I would still try to see if you can use that amazon voucher once you have decided what you want. They may have it for about the same price like the EVOD you listed. Hats off to amazon if they can match myepack for price.

When your e-cigarette isn't in your hand, where does it live? Here or here

Refilling it and just unscrewing the juice control leads to flooding as there is no vacuum built up to stop it flooding, so a couple of draws and half a turn then another couple and half a turn. After about 10 vapes you can open it up more without it flooding. I found I never needed to open the juice control more than about 0.75 of a turn to get the perfect vape for me. I give it about 3 turns, but I guess its down to what you use as wick and how much you use of it.

Ok ok, I know many of you have been vaping on this set-up for months already, but you have to agree my 18350 nemesis and kayfun nano have a certain je ne sais quoi ... The drip tip and KFL+ are new today - it's a little whistly but certainly has that fantastic kayfun flavour. Looks great and that drip tip ties it all together.
