Well, our planned video is most definitely real - it's also a secret subject, but I'm sure it will be enjoyed by all here.

Maybe they got a few in and you got lucky I think you might be right Blakey - I've not had an email either, and the site tells me that my order is in a pre-order status.

Well, we're already planning one video, and now I'm worried that this is going to become a regular occurrence on Thursdays at 8! LOL

I really do hope so - we're trying out some new flavours, and will also be playing with some Bud-Tanks...hmmm, juicy flavours. Edit: I'm recommending all that speak to me about vaping to the forums. As has been said elsewhere, I'm finding this site to be an extremely helpful site, with relevant information to boot. Thank you, Chrissie, for making this resource available to all. I'm sure the community will join me in that praise.

The Ego with the switch seems just the ticket. A very practical compromise between size, style and performance. I'm going to try and track a kit down, but before I do can anyone advise on: What's the best battery in the standard 510 Ego size? What are the best carts and attys for the product. Also standard dimensions (or close to)? And finally, any recommendations on where I might find this package + all the peripherals? Yours gratefully, Red. Hey Red, welcome! I have the Ego-T 1000mAh and use it with SR Kanger's at the moment - Perpetua, in my opinion, has hit the nail on the head with her info, as that is almost exactly (Ego instead of Riva) my setup, and I'm loving it. I'm now tempted by LR Kanger's if they're really that good... That said, I'm also on the list for a Lavatube, and I'm planning to get a Lil Mama/Big Papa tank to go with that. My word, I'm advancing fast! Hahahah

Yeah - the Kanger's are pretty good. To be honest, I wasn't impressed with the Boge, and thought that my Kanger purchase was going to be a dud - fat chance! They're pretty good in the flavour department. One smallish issue I've found - they do not last as long as the Boge. I guess I'll need to carry some juice with me (both carto's have now run out - and I have the rest of the day to go!!!)

You're doing nothing wrong by the sound of it Paul. Push them down firmly, until you get a click and then rotate to open up the hole. Tanks and Tank Atomisers are sometimes great and sometimes a nightmare. My advice would be to try a cartomiser at some time. At least with them, you won't be wasting 10ml of juice. In the meantime you can always cut down one of the cartridges and drip 2-3 drops straight down onto the atomiser spike. Just use the cut down cartridge as a mouthpiece and you should then get plenty of vapour and flavour. Not ideal, but an option I had to chuckle - hopefully the order I placed with you yesterday will be making it's way to me tomorrow (Boge Cartomiser, extra tanks, drip tip, etc. - and now you know who I am. Heheh).

I have both the ones that came with the EGO-T, and some more that I purchased separately, and have sadly had the same result with both. So far, while the draw with the silicone cap is tougher, I'm still getting a reasonable amount of vapor without any leaks - which for today is a result (wasted the best part of 10ml of juice today ). So - if the hard caps are that good, what is the best way to 'mount' them? I've been pushing down vertically into the atty so far.

Hmmm - leaky tanks are bloody annoying, aren't they? I have tanks with the hard plastic caps - while the hole punches correctly, the juice leaks out everywhere. I've definitely inserted the tank fully, and have even tried the twist trick (to move the 'chad' out of the way), but to no avail. Are the silicone caps any good, and does anyone know a UK supplier if they are? Or is there something I can do to improve my vaping experience? Ta in advance, PK

So - I now have an Ego-T 1000mAh PV and had a couple of questions for those of you who may have some experience of these PVs.
1. Would I be correct in assuming this is a type A tank? How can I determine this from looking at the atty?
2. I think that I can, but is this suitable for LR attys, and where would I get these from?
3. If the atty/tank size is closely related, as I expect it may be, I assume that I will not be able to interchange the small tank with the larger atty, but what about the other way around?
I also have a charger from a Genesis 510 PV (4.2v 140mA output) - would it be safe to charge the Ego-T 1000 with this USB adapter?
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Update for you all. While I was obviously worried due to lack of communication/contact points, I received an email from Cam this morning advising that my item was sent yesterday. Well, I now have my package (phew!) and am happy with the devices. Once again, thank you all for your reassurances as it stemmed the nerves somewhat. Oh - and thanks to Cam. Might be a good idea to improve your website workflow to include both automated emails on order, and updates when shipping.

Another important tip - remember to drink plenty of fluids.

Thanks for all of your replies guys - it does help to reduce the worry that I may have lost cash on a bad deal. At the end of the day, I expect (I think reasonably) to be kept in the loop when dealing with online retailers. For example, if they are on holiday, then a website should reflect that (one dealer I note has a 10% discount when they get back from their hols!). It is a lack of communication that gives rise to messages such as mine on forums such as these. I am now going to see just how long it takes for my order to arrive and will post back when it does. Finally - I got the 'recommendation' for e-cigz.co.uk from the forums here. I'm wondering if it would be useful to comment on delivery times, etc. for these traders so that expectations can be set accordingly? Thanks again all. Update: I've just found the thread about good customer service.

How did you pay Paul? If it was via Paypal, you should be able to check if the money has been claimed? Yes, it was via Paypal, and they are the only emails I've received so far. Just had a read on the UKV forums as mentioned above and am now disappointed with myself for not following my usual due dilegence process before ordering... At least this doesn't appear to be a fly by night, which was my primary concern. It also looks like I may be waiting a while for my order. I always say that communication is key - especially if you want to keep customers in this day and age.
