I'm fairly flexible on dates in March, or early April. Does it have to be a Saturday? Any further thoughts on where it might be?

This is the best deal I know of piper if you want 5 and are not in too much of a hurry: www.heaven-gifts.com/product-204.htmlTheir postage is pretty cheap and delivery is quite good by China post standards!

My 75mg nic base arrived this morning from Nicvapes, so it took about 8/9 days from the USA. If you want a reasonably large quantity ( I got a litre) I don't think you can get it much cheaper than from them. I'm also very new to this raggie and another mainly tobacco flavour vaper - I just got a few small bottles from Flavourarts and from what I have tried so far I'm confident I can make something I can enjoy from those.

It's what they call 1mm Ekowool Ian - although it is 2mm across on the flat side. Somebody who got the 2mm said it actually measured 4mm across! I've only used it in the Kayfun and I fold it over twice so in effect it is trebled. 4 (or possibly 4 and a half)wraps of 0.16 nichrome give me about 1.8 ohms, with 0.2 NC it goes down to about 1.4 ohms. I tend to stick to around 1.8 or so since I mainly use VV/VW devices, but you would probably want something a bit lower with a mech mod.

I just got an EVOD to try as well and must say I'm impressed with it so far - I reckon it compares very favourably with the Kanger T3.

Lots of vendors do the base and the tanks, but the top bits seem a bit harder to find. I got some from Health Cabin.

Yep, I've got through dozens of cotton buds and all sorts of other things. The thing about this is that it is stiff as well as absorbing IPA - I won't have to disassemble things and sand them down any more as well. Given the 5 re-fills I was happy to pay £6.99 for something that would do all the jobs like this I want to do for I guess some years to come But hey, each to his own

I got the same one as Di - the Smoktech RDA or "Octopus". It arrived this morning from e-cigwizard so I've only had a quick go on it with the pre-installed coil and it seems quite good. A nice thing about it is that the air intake is routed through the centre so comes up underneath the wick. I don't think I will be bothering with 8 wicks when I re-wick it lol. It is about 18mm in diameter so quite a bit fatter than eGo type batteries.

Hi Saffy and welcome. You have given yourselves a great chance with that kit. See which you prefer out of the clearomiser or the cartomisers and if you take to vaping you can stock up with some more stuff. There is a wide choice of batteries and clearomiser type things and you can have a look and see what you fancy. Like your kit, most things now have 510 connections so are all inter-changeable. Have fun

I picked up a great tip for cleaning atomiser/ battery connections or contacts. I got one of these: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fibre-Fiber-Pen-Fibreglass-Abrasive-Circuit-Contact-Cleaning-Pen-5-Refills-/130715069990Dipped in Isopropyl alcohol it is brilliant for these routine bits of maintenance and even brings brass contacts up like new. Great for getting round all the bits of a 510 connection and much better than my previous methods involving alcohol wipes and tissues! Highly recommended if, like me, you have never come across these before.
