My joy is short lived when I realise that not only is the replacement tank internal diameter slightly too wide for the 'O' rings to seal against it, the tank itself is 3mm longer than the old one. Bugger!I'm guessing the replacement tank glass I have is for an original Kraken, and they've made the clone slightly smaller, that or Fasttech simply messed up. Bugger!
You might have sorted this by now....but how long ago did you buy it ?....saw this on one of the discussions sufie Staff Hi, everyone. We measured the glass tank and the height is about 20.00mm. If you received longer one to the effect that it won't fit on the Kraken Atomizer SKU 1530400, please open a ticket and we will replace it for you. Thank you for your understanding.

LOL....that makes 2 of us.....I posted it on the WHO's FB page (had to do it on another account though because theyve banned my normal account from previous postings/rants on their page about their pharmaceutical funded opinions)

No matter what you do mate, custard will always taste better from a silica wick Mesh seems to strip the body from the flavour leaving a clean but uncustardy taste. Cotton is better but still lacks body. Best results from custard actually come from a mid range coil between 1.7 & 2.3 ohms at around 7-9watts Does that apply to most other flavours too ?......I was vaping using mesh on an RSST using a caramel mix & thought it tasted great, at the moment ive got a silica wick in the middle of the mesh & cant really taste any difference between the two set ups apart from a burnt taste if the juice level goes too low in the tank, which im guessing is just because the wick cant draw it up quick enough (perhaps ive rolled the mesh around the silica wick too tight as I never got that problem from just using the mesh as a wick) Sorry Crin766 dont mean to hijack your thread, but im thinking about ordering a kraken clone from FT soon & i'd prob wick it using mesh, but if theres a way of getting better flavour from them then i'll be watching the replies you get.....so thanks for bringing this topic up

Hey guys! So I've been looking through these forums regularly for past week learning lots about vaping, getting ready to buy my 1st ever vape and to give up the cigs. But I have some doubts, I'm a long time asthma sufferer and for the past 2 years smoking cigs have begun to tightening my airways making it hard to breathe. Is their any other people here who suffer from asthma and have made the switch to vaping, noticed any improvements etc? Ive had asthma from a very young age & since ive gone from smoking to vaping my chest tightness & breathing has improved 10 fold, although I'll be honest & tell you that for me heavy vaping of some flavours will make my chest feel slightly tight again & a little wheezie, but after 5-10 mins its gone & im fine again....and that wouldnt have been the case if I was still smoking. When I was smoking I only used my inhaler when i needed it (usually at night when im trying to get to sleep), since ive started vaping I havent needed to use it once!....in fact at the moment I couldnt even tell you where it is!..lol...so that must say something about vaping being far better for your health over smoking, my advice.....get yourself vaping & off the stinkies...you wont believe the difference it makes Oh and welcome to AAEC....the best vaping forum on the net

Is that not a none glass tank too ??? Fasttech listed V4 Orchid today, States glass tank ( but I am unsure if it is ) but still a bargain at under £8 Nope....theyve amended it now...its a poly tank :-( I was going to get one of those because ive read so many good reviews about them being top vapes but the 1 piece chimney kinda put me off, how do you know you havent got any wick trapped in the juice channels or trapped in the threads & pulled the coil out of line ? Im quite a newbie to RBA's & from my own experince Id recommend the Russian 91%, I find it very easy to build & in my opinion I think its better than my kayfun because the juice channels are deeper & the air flow is better. Another one I'd recommend is an RSST, like the russian I find it very easy to build with either mesh or wick, but i prefer the mesh set-up because to me it tastes better, ive never had any dry hits & it lasts for ages, i've been using the same piece of mesh for about a month now & all I do every now & then is whack the watts up & pulse the power to it (obviously when theres no juice in it) & that burns off any crud on the wick & coil (just remember to do it outside..lol) every now & then I change the coil & take the mesh out to give it a burn to clean it....got mine in a trade off here & I like it so much I might buy another one or a Kraken. Both of the links ive given are for clones so theyre nice & cheap, I know you said youd "prefer" a pyrex tank & both of those are poly tanks, but they do sell an RSST with a pyrex tank
