Hi guys Thought I'd do a 'proper' post as have been AWOL for various reasons - good & not-so-good, but Scyl will love the good bit (mostly ) First tho' Welcome, BIG welcome to anyone I haven't said it to yet Delighted to meet all of the new folk Oh, & Perfectionist doo keep posting; your 'take' on things may sometimes be different, but a variety of opinions & debate is extremely healthy & such a positive thing (luv agreeing to disagree & then having a hug - so .......enervating ) *think I mean enervating* ??? Ooo & I missed Foxy - Hi Foxy *waves* Well, predictably & boooringly not been too well; then finishing work that I'll actually get paid for - latest clients not about to go 'bust' on me I hope Unwell again so all a bit h-e-a-v-y BUT THEN (prepare to cry & smile)............ Went to my friends new house (actually it's an old house) on Sun to help unpack & get her sorted - she moved Fri but stayed with me as it was all a bit of a pickle!) Anyway we took some pots to her garden & kept hearing very faint noises - we were very busy - didn't think much of it - later on we took our tea outside & heard them again ??? Investigated the massively overgrown disintegrating shed-&-a-half - and - .............OMG there were 5 of the teeniest kittens you've ever seen hardly moving Didn't know what to do - they were in a bad way. Wondered where the mother was ??? Shot round to immediate neighbours (WHAT demented style introductions they were!) Learned that previous owners had kept their cat permanently outside & it had been run over on TUESDAY - Bear in mind the day was then SUNDAY - FIVE DAYS those kittens had been there Knowing there was no mum to find we rushed to take them inside & gave them drips of water & called the emergency vet. Took them there an hour later. One was already dead The vet said they wouldn't make it & she would put them all down One was hardly alive. We talked & begged & eventually resolved that she would put the dying one to sleep BUT that we would take the remaining three home. (armed with special food & syringes) Since Sunday nothing has got done! No house getting straight, no work done & believe me, precious little sleep!! ............INCREDIBLY, these little three are doing, as the vet said this morning "miraculously well" They're gonna make it & make wonderful hand reared pets. We are so delighted - just had to share this sad / happy story with you guys

Part of the reason folks do it is because they can be totally cruel and neglectful, and get away with it. Even if and when they get caught - they just get a slapped wrist. Completely agree with Lilac & Hanow Couple of years ago went to see kittens advertised locally. 6 kittens were in an appalling state with their matted mum shut in a downstairs loo > Paid £65 for the one that wasn't moving & I drove straight to the vet. My vet has a large practice & called in 2 other partners to witness the worst case of fleas EVER seen by them - it was shocking - her whole coat was 'moving' She was malnourished & had horrible sores > We reported to the RSPCA as urgent. The mother cat & kittens were taken from the woman the following day. Later the same year she was advertising another litter for sale > Edit - crossed posts Chrissie & completely agree with you too - her expression is a tribute

Code allaboute for Liberty Flights Lots have bought the 901 initially. I still use it all the time & really like it, but you do have to charge the batteries more often than the Riva.

Oh ((((Chrissie)))) I didn't wonder about, or question, the suppliers one teeny bit - I meant the whole manufacturing thing! You know, disposable EVERYTHING eg - years ago you got your washing machine, fridge, etc etc REPAIRED. Now it all goes wrong so fast you just bin it all. Not meant to last.

Lolli, the most common cause for any usb device failing is usually due to the wires inside the cord breaking. It makes you wonder how long they're INTENDED to last ? When you think of the numerous devices we use everyday, with similar electrical cords, & IMHO, they rarely break ???

Hi, got a pass through about 2-3 weeks ago for my 901. I was thrilled to bits with it . Now it seems to have died on me. I thought it would have lasted longer than that. Have I done something wrong. Sue PS well done to all those who have just started vaping. How frustrating! Thought the whole point of a passthrough, even the basic ones, was that there wasn't much to go wrong ??? Wonder why it just 'died'

Does anyone else want to try a TW one & order together? Seems daft to pay £1.99 postage on one £1.49 item - just a thought

I wonder if you've got some dodgy atties It does sometimes happen Hope not. Try all the above with a new attie maybe, then clean the others out, reprime 'n have another go with them? If I vape "hard" my atties sometimes get pretty hot too, but I have not encountered a prob when they do this. Fingers crossed babe x
