What a cracking photo. I bet you Ayrshire in those days was an amazing place to live, Oh aye, the rickets and diptheria really spiced the day up.

I think it's totally crap - what was wrong with the old one? The change was coming whether we liked it or not Farzooks, so there's been no choice in the matter. It's a Proboards decision to upgrade their forums. Chrissie has worked her proverbials off to get us to here.
The least we can all do, is to give it a shot at getting used to and ask if we come across anything we're not sure about. It's a mistake to break conventions - no proper editing box, for a start. Dismal themes - the only one I can tolerate is the green on green and that's only because the old board was green-ish and I was used to that. I suppose I will get used to it, and in truth, if the new theme had already been in place when I first joined up I would have just accepted it, but change for change's sake is never a good thing. For an example of how it should be done I would point to www.boards.ie , where there was an 'update' of appearance but existing members could choose to keep the old theme in their preferences for as long as they liked. Guess what? I much preferred the old one as the new layout was too garish and gauche, much like this.

It's no biggie - this is not like normal cessation methods where you're deliberately made to feel like a failure if you backslide. The big thing about the vaping way is that you have a fag - so what? You've not failed, you've simply had a fag. Ignore all that other bullsheet that emanates from the normal quitters and the evangelical nonsense that they spout. How many of them stay quit? Damn few, and that's a fact. So, have your odd fag and keep vaping - eventually you won't have one at all and even if you do, so what? Just don't start again, that's all.

The first time I met another vaper, I was just sitting in my car puffing away on my Ego/carto and went over to the mobile chip van nearby. The bloke behind the counter pulled out this massive tool and waved it about. I think it was an LT and I was immediately struck with Device Envy - now I have two of them and enough tanks to wave around in public myself.

You could use SUPER (google it) but it's a bit of a pita to download. Alternatively, Handbrake is good and simple to use. Both are free and very effective at reducing upload sizes and putting your movies into containers for viewing on just about any device.

Being at the end of a long chain of mail-order steps for getting anything to me, I was pleasantly surprised today, to find that my local pharmacist, who isn't the cheapest, could flog me a 500ml bottle of VG for €6 - this beats the pants off buying it + postage, by a good couple of quid. I've been buying it locally by the small bottle until now, but they aren't very cheap for that size; fortunately I don't rattle through it at a rate of knots, but the larger bottle will do for a year, I think. Not much point in stockpiling PG and VG against a ban - I can't see the EU restricting sales or regulating that any time, but I'm deffo starting to buy in long-term supplies of e-nic juice base.

The shop was in Alison Street near the Queens Park. I was born just round the corner in Pollockshaws Road. Hah. I went to the old QP Sec and lived in Cathcart. But during the war when money was tight, he gave out too much tick to people that he felt sorry for and after the war those people didn't pay him back what they owed. That broke him and he lost the shop and his livelyhood. Some people are awful about paying bills for consumables. It's some weird process goes on in their head, about it being in the past and gone, so they sort of ignore it.

Hhmmm... just tried this method and first couple of vapes were improved in taste, but I noticed fairly quickly that If I don't get it just right, the vape is still a bit hot as it passes over my throat and that would irritate it. I also end up with a voice like Edith Piaf... Je, ne regret le vape...

I'm going through approx 6ml /day of around 10 or 12mg concentration. Recently I cleaned out all my Vivis and clearos and started keeping each one for a different flavour and it's really nice hopping from one to another to get a fresh taste. Previously, I'd been letting each device become x-contaminated and gunky with other, older mixes, so they all ended up tasting like shoes. ??? ??? I don't know for sure how my nicotine intake level fares but on 50 rollies /day I was averaging three /hour and there were plenty of periods when I'd be stubbing one out and immediately rolling another, so it was fairly concentrated during that time.

We will NEVER win over the EU without real facts and that is something the "not bothered" camp need to understand. Ignoring for a moment the possibility the EU's knickers being in a twist because of greasy backhanders from Big Tobacco and Big Pharma, there's another, very realistic reason for this. They have a different mindset to us - they don't like people having the audacity to actually do something without their approval. Recall, that in many countries in a part of the world not so far from us, what isn't actually permitted by law and the authorities is illegal. Contrast this with Good Old British [1] Freedoms - we can do what we like until it's made unlawful, as long as we're not harming anyone. Your average European bureaucrat gets a bit peeved at this - imagine, the cheek of the ordinary people to think they can cock a snook at Brussels and actually do something like that en-masse without permission or paying taxes on it. My opinion? Stuff 'em. Stuff 'em right in the eyes. [1] I include myself in this, because I'm British, but also the Irish legal system is the same.

They were the efest 3400 batteries. They are a very tight fit in the vamo and there is a very real danger of the plastic casing wearing away and the battery casing shorting out on the mod itself. If you decide to try for yourself then please be sensible and check the plastic casing every time you remove the battery and make sure it hasn't been compromised. Also, I have two of these batteries and one fits easily and one fits very snug so there is a difference between individual batteries. The battery casing is negative - the casing of the mod is negative, the only positive bit of the battery is the top. You could put a bare naked cell in there and there wouldn't be a problem. However, if some designs have an utterly stupid layout where the casing is positive, now that would cause a problem. I wouldn't rule that out, though.
