I must be lucky both my Tfv4's and v8's have performed flawlessly, in fact I would go as far to say if I wanted to pick a tank I could be sure it would not leak they are my first choice. And to top it all my coils came from GB or FT and last about a month each. Now if you mentioned the Griffin 25 that's the biggest pos I had the misfortune to buy! strange isn't it how the quality, operation and opinion of a product varies so much? I found the TFV4 range to be utter tripe, I've still got one brand new sealed in its box and probably 10-12 unused quad coils. I wouldn't even consider digging out the mini and full size ones that I have used to see if they can be redeemed. My niece has an Alien and baby V8, only problem she has is short battery life. Griffin...only way that I can get mine to work faultlessly is with 60vg menthol. Your guess is as good as mine.

The TFV4 was enough crap from smok I had and I learned never to buy their gear again now they did leak like leaking things that liked to leak for fun. Anyway ghostrider1971 in regards to your V8, check that the seals are not damaged or missing , coil, chimney and top fill.

I have about 4.5 litres in the freezer, at the time when the majority was purchased I was on 12mg and expecting 4-5 years out of it. Now I'm on 6mg and actually vaping about 1/3 less so there could be 10 years worth. On the other hand my sister and niece started vaping at Christmas.

I gave up on keeping 'the dregs', I emptied the old testers, fails and past favourites into a 500ml bottle, shook it up and left it for another month. Pretty foul to be honest, the first couple of puffs seemed to have some possibilities but it was not to be. Drained the lot.

yes Provape is another casualty of legislation, but like any other manufacturer they must have been aware of what they would have to do. It's not as if they had a huge product range, apart from the myriad of different colours. V2, V2 mini?, P3 and Radius. No new development, just more of the same. Marketed on reliability and its safety first operation. Evolve managed to fire out 4 ?? new boards before the deadline. A shame people had to lose their jobs but it looks like a modern dinosaur fell over and died before it even reached the tar pit.

I think that they contain a small amount of n-butyric acid added for a hint of 'buttery smooth '. It would be responsible for the cheesy whiff and it also enhances fruity notes. I'm currently brewing/sampling some Kandi Head Cuban Cigar, there is definitely a touch of n-butyric on the exhale but fortunately improving all the time.
Yes whilst it makes a welcome change to fruit and vanilla... I couldn't vape it 24/7. Why they put the whole dirty ashtray experience into a 'cigarette' vape Lord only knows.

It was the very first juice that got me off the cigs properly and I enjoyed it for a couple of years. Since moving onto better things it tastes like dirty ashtray water to me now thats exactly what I thought about RY4 18 months ago , I never finished the first 10ml

lol, discount code only applies single items and not to any sale offers. Good job it doesn't say anything about items being in stock

hmm, over-wicked dry hits? I originally had the same problem with the merlin and aromamiser so I wick, juice and re-size, thing is I do this with nearly all of my atomisers; V5s included. I washed the troublesome atty out and put it back in the box, I'm sure in some desparate moment I'll drag it out.... for spares.

Not the brand I bought last year, I suppose its not unknown to have a mix up but umm if they put the wrong master spool on at UD or had an iffy batch you won't be the only one to be scratching your head.

not quite the same material but I bought a good few spools of nichrome 80 Clapton wire on FT last year for resale and quite frankly the resistance was all wrong, it was also magnetic and really stiff. And it vaped like crap. I measured the core and couldn't find a nichrome wire type with a matching resistance. After a session on steamengine I reckoned it was akin to kanthal D with a nichrome 30 wrap. I raised a ticket with FT who told me.... 'we have contacted the manufacturer who sell thousands of these without any issues ...' Obviously joy from their customer service department.
Anyways no compensation for your frustration but I find it no surprise that a wire from them isn't what it is supposed to be. I take it that it was cheap enough to bin?

Entirely agree that you get what you pay for, but I wouldn't want to spend £90 on an atomiser let alone have three or four in rotation.

perhaps not the usual burnt taste question. I have an SXK kayfun v5 and everything tastes singed, almost as if it has a hot coil leg. I've tried spaced and contact coils, SS, nichrome, kanthal and several different wicking materials. I've run it through the ultrasonic several times, used new tips, replaced all of the seals, insulators, even put a new positive post on it. And still it tastes like something is burnt. Any ideas? Cheers stevef Could it be the Juice Control? I put some VG on the 2 O-rings, below the building deck... TBH.. I'm having a similar problem with the SXK Kayfun 5.... I've tried lifting & lowering the coil. not too keen on the Juice Control..... I'm using 50/50 and a rolled wick, if anything it's a little too much so no dry hitting. And yes the juice control is random to say the least, 2 turns, 2.5 turns, 3 turns. Bubbles, no bubbles, bubbles only when I turn the tank. I have four V5s, two SXKs (fasttech) and two Coppervape ( Gearbest $9), all of them perform differently, airflow, juice flow.

Not so much of a long shot if it works, but it has been stripped down a few times, I'll give it an overnight soak in isopropanol.
