You can put a little Fairy in the initial warm water and then rinse out well with clear. Then blot dry with whatever you have to hand that's clean - can be kitchen towel or tea towel etc - and then leave to air dry, it won't take long, in fact you can probably use it right away if you're in a rush. If you can wait until James gets back, he has the blue stuff @ 50p for a small "sheet", enough for a lot of single units to be chopped out of it scylla

Oh dear oh dear - my instructions above were for the stuffing, not the atties or cartridges themselves I can hear my teacher now: "READ THE QUESTION!!!" I never had much success washing/cleaning/steaming atties scylla

Yeah, it was the atties from TW that had the gunk. I poured very hot (nearly boiling) water over them. Put them on kitchen roll and left overnight. I still didn't have much success with them and they didn't seem to work very well at all. If I persevered for a couple of days (DYING for a good vape in the meantime) they functioned after a fashion. I resported to using old ones until my order arrived from Eastmall and now using the LR510's which are utter bliss!
For those that don't like LR's and find them too strong, maybe the normal 510's from Eastmall would be better than those from TW?
I will be ordering from Eastmall again in a week or two, just to make sure I have a good stock of everything.

Hissie, Apparently you can wash out your cart filler and use it over and over again. Trouble is, mine looks a bit the worse for wear having gone in and out of umpteen carts for one reason or another. So....I ordered some Fluvall, recommended in another thread, it's supposed to be used in fish tanks. This is what I ordered - cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330451038500&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:ITI know I'll have enough to last me forever and a day, but seemed a cheap enough bargain. There is some other blue stuff, that Jaki kindly sent me some of to try, but I didn't get on with it. It's more like a foam sponge you wash yourself with, and while OK on the initial fill, it didn't seem to want to absorb anymore juice, and I wasn't getting a good vape. Maybe I used it wrongly? Kath Kath, I've bought this fluvall filling. How are you finding it?

I'm finding it ok. I got 5 sheets of the stuff, it will last me forever and a day! I used a bit today, with my LR attie and it's been perfect. It is a bit "fatter" than the stuff already in the cart, but I squished it in and it's been fine. I chucked all my old fillers out, I'd washed them a couple of times and they fell to bits.
Yes, you can place an order, but don't do it yet, have a look through and write it down for now, or save the links.

You have the Riva, Hissie?
So you are really looking for 510 atomisers - either normal or LR. That's what most of us bought last time, atomisers in packs of 5 for $15 a pack.

Hmm Kath, I'm trying this new fluval & I think it's a bit weird compared to the filling that comes with the cart. I'll carry on with it & see if I can get used to it but at present I'm not wholly convinced Has anyone used teabags as cart filler? Ok not a fan of this new fluval, it makes my throat tickle & has a bit of a weird taste to it. Oh crickey what to use as a replacement? ???

Tea bags I'd forgotten all about them! I did try one (emptied out ) a long time ago but it wasn't very good. The American videos I've seen always used Lipton's, I don't know if they're made of a material that's particularly absorbent or suitable in some other way. There's no harm trying a tea bag. Are you making sure your Fluval is well soaked? Not that I'm any good with it - I'm trying to give the blue stuff a decent trial but keep forgetting and dripping instead, even though it's still stuffed in the cart scylla

Hi Hissie,
I had to faff about a bit getting the right amount and thickness in, but it's fine. I thought it was exactly the same stuff that is in the carts to start with? I bought it after reading a thread somewhere on here, that said it was the right thing to use. I tried the blue, and initially it was ok, but doesn't seem to hold the juice after a while.
Sorry, as a newbie myself, I don't know what else to recommend.

Hissie, as Scylla says, you really need to make sure you soak it well & also make sure there aren't any loose fibres that can get into the atomiser.
