Scylla, Chrissie and other mods - none of us newbies would be getting off the ground at all if you weren't here advising us. Don't feel bad for things that go wrong when they are totally outside of your control.

Hopefully the fact that I had the same problem will help get this sorted quicker.
It would make me feel a lot less nervous about "complaining" if I new someone else had referred the same problem to a supplier - that's another benefit of banding together OH NO!!! Dee, I've just modified this post instead of quoting it, and I can't undo it. What a mess! I just forced myself to stay awake that little bit too long So sorry, I can't reconstruct your original. scylla

(((((((Scylla)))))))) - don't understand any of the last post, or who said what, where and to whom. but PMSL - that's the sort of thing I would do if I tried to edit/cut/paste etc. So glad it isn't just me, but Scylla, if this makes you feel any better, I would get into that kind of pickle any time of the day. Hope you finally got a good night's sleep. Dee and other Riva users - I have said it somewhere else, but will repeat: my atties appeared to be failing (the two that came with my kit). But, for unknown reasons, after leaving them for a day - they are now fully recovered. Don't understand it at all, but Chrissie et al have commented that that they can appear to waken from a coma, so don't throw them away when your appear a bit lifeless. Happy vaping day everyone.

Comotose attie still too weak, despite cleaning, oven drying and leaving overnight - again. However, good news in that the replacement atties arrived from LF this morning. Have tried one - fits fine, took / taking a little while to get going but otherwise fine. Funny how the original attie from the kit produced clouds of vape to start with. Am I the only one that is struggling to get replacements going? ??? Oh, by the way, attie come with blank (no filler) carts we well

Was your original atty a Low Resistance one Judy and the replacements standard atties?
The LR ones do seem to generate more vapour I'm finding.

I only had the standard Riva kit and I thought the atties were just the normal ones. I am getting this new one sorted out. It seems to me from limited experience that not all atties work the same. From the kit, I had one that worked better than the other Just had another vape (changed cartridge), more cloud

Judy, the atties arrive covered with a 'primer' from the factory (some sort of protections I believe).
This can a) taste nasty and b) take a while to wear off, so it takes a while to get the atties going at their full potential. Some are worse than others, although I don't know why.
Keep it moist (ohh err) and keep going. Within a short time you should be vaping plumes!
ETA You can blow some of the primer out I believe, but it seems every time I blow out an atty it slips into a coma, so I tend not to bother.

Oh what 's going on here then??? I'm being impersonated but not sure who the culprit is (only smiley I can remember) LOL Update - I'm totally impressed with Totally Wicked, my atties arrived first class recorded this morning. I've tried them all and they all fire up. Will take a bit of time to get the 'gunk' off them but they appear to be as good as the ones that came with the Riva. Only difference is that they're slightly shorter. So I think they were pretty much a bargain and well worth looking at.

Thanks Jaki, won't try blowing out primer then!. Yes think I had a bit of an over moist (Ooh err) cartridge, as in a noisy one and when I changed it for a different one am puffing nicely, thanks. Will try the other spares later to check them
Dee. the ones I ordered from LF are a little bit longer than the ones from the original kit. Original atties have 510TITAN stamped on them and the replacement (mini 510 ) has just the word RIVA. Glad your TW ones are working well too, good price on those at the moment.
We newbies are finally - with the help of the experts - getting sorted

Jaki, the juices you sent got here this morning, however, still not received the parcel from James.
Haven't tried any of it yet as I'm scared of things not working properly & with me not smoking analogs, will have no back up to cope with withdrawls.

Hissie, just give it a go! It seems you have one working battery at least and you won't find out about the other until you try it!
You're going to have to take the plunge at some point, it may as well be now!

Agrees with Jaki - give it a go Hissie BTW, did you get an order/payment confirmation email from either James or Nocheck? I'm just wondering if your order may not have gone through properly?

Hurrah I'm vaping!
One battery is fine, the other one has no charge in it, even tho' I put it on charge before using it.
So, it's now trying to work out whether I have a duff battery or duff charger or both.
I'll email LF just to initially confirm that the battery is definatly not working.

Yes Chrissie, got all the confirmation emails. Even had emails saying it was being packed, then another one telling me it had been shipped.
