Ah well still no juice from james. I'm assuming it's gone missing in the post.
Jaki, I tried the 36mg this morning & to be honest, although it gave off a good vapor, I wasn't impressed with the flavour & the hit was a bit to harsh for me. Flavour wish I prefer the coffee juice, but for everyday, the drum one isn't bad.
Got a reply from LF. they asked if the charger is charging up the good battery. I told them I haven't tried that yet as the battery is still ok, however, due to not smoking analogs, I'm wary that if the charger isn't good, I'll end up with nothing working. I had previously suggested that they send me a new battery/charger & i would return the broken parts, as yet they don't appear up for doing that.

Hissie, if you pop the good battery onto the charger the blue button should flash a few times and the light on the charger change from green to red. I realise your battery is not yet flat, but you will have used some of the power and so this should give you an indication of whether the charger is working.

So glad they are sending you battery & charger. You need things to be as easy as poss at the start of the vaping lark You could always dilute your 36mg with glycerine?

When you have carts filled with different flavoured juice, how do people remember whats in each cart? I only have 3 juices at present but am expecting a couple more tomorrow. I plan to fill up 2 more carts but am a bit wary I forget what's in each. At the moment I have one flavour + matching cart in one cupboard ect.

I used to be paranoid about getting carts mixed up with different flavours, but really, most flavours blend into one another eventually without too many dramas.

Hi Hissie
I've organised my flavours in an empty egg carton. I keep the cart in the same compartment as the bottle of juice I've used. System works well most of the time but I have to admit I have three carts and I don't have a clue whats in them.

I'm the same as Bucko Hissie If I have a very strong different flavour, like James' spearmint for instances. Then I do keep a cartridge separate for that & vape it one just my passthru for instance.

It's because I'm just sampling flavours at the moment, so don't wanna mix anything up just yet. I want to work out what I like & what I don't like Judy, I will try the egg box, sounds like a good idea.

LF sent me a replacement battery & charger. Both seem to be fine, so I'll be sending the broken bits back. Just wondering how long the filling lasts in the carts? & what the recommended replacement filling is. Thanks

Hissie, Apparently you can wash out your cart filler and use it over and over again. Trouble is, mine looks a bit the worse for wear having gone in and out of umpteen carts for one reason or another. So....I ordered some Fluvall, recommended in another thread, it's supposed to be used in fish tanks. This is what I ordered - cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330451038500&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:ITI know I'll have enough to last me forever and a day, but seemed a cheap enough bargain. There is some other blue stuff, that Jaki kindly sent me some of to try, but I didn't get on with it. It's more like a foam sponge you wash yourself with, and while OK on the initial fill, it didn't seem to want to absorb anymore juice, and I wasn't getting a good vape. Maybe I used it wrongly? Kath

Hissie, you can refill the carts many times over. The stuffing will eventually need replacing when it starts to either look raggedy or get too compressed.
There are a fair few things you can restuff them with. One of the most popular is various fish tank filters (cut to size).

Hissie - adding to the above: I remove the wadding stuff, put them in a sieve and run hot water over. The jucice comes out immediately. Then just press the fluffy bits in between a couple of layers of kitchen roll or tissue a couple of times to absorb the water. It dries really quickly. Then re-stuff your carts - just poke it back it gently without compacting it. Hope that helps too.
