Thanks MM, we are ready for it. I'm sure the town trucks have their snowplows attached and are loaded with sand (grit). We are used to weather like this, but I still hate it. LOL. Be careful on that ice, I don't want to see you fall and hurt yourself.

So do I Scylla, especially since my 89 year old Dad lives here, too. I have a wood burning stove in my living room, so if we lose our electricity I will get that fired up.

We have 4 or 5 inches of snow now. Someone plowed my driveway, I think it was my next door neighbor, I will have to thank him. We are expecting another 10 to 15 inches overnight, with high winds and 2 to 4 more inches tomorrow.

I wonder if we could see you on Google Earth? Bit late to ask now, I expect you've retired, at least from your PC. Oh well, we'll see tomorrow. I'm awake with nausea (hope it's not me turkey ) listening to the cricket. Night Night. scylla

I'm sure he's well prepared - even got a wood stove, how lovely. But I'll be worried if we don't hear from him soonish scylla

I'm fine (((Chrissie))) and (((Scylla))), thank you for your concern. Sorry to hear about the nausea, Scylla. I read the article, Perpy and Rhode Island was mentioned.
The storm was very nasty, but it is mostly over now, just some snow flurries and an occasional gust of wind. I was lucky, only about 8 or 10 inches of snow fell, but it's hard to measure since there was a lot of drifting.
Speaking of the winds, they were strong, woke me up a few times last night, but we didn't lose our electric power and I don't see any damage, thank God.
Well, I'm off to get an early lunch and then clear away this mess. If it's early enough when I'm finished, I will try to get a few pics and post them here.
