Advice required

Hi - I am brand new to this forum. I have been using 10 Motives e-cigs and cartridges for around a month now and have only had a few real smokes during this period and none at all in the last 10 days.
I am now interested in buying my own liquid. re-filling etc as imagine this would be cheaper.Can I do this with my existing 10 motives system or do I need to switch?

I believe 10 motives are disposable cartridge e cig type, Im new to all this aswell its quite overwhelming.

If your looking for a recommendation, I just bought the vision crystal mini from vape escape, brilliant bit of kit get a spare battery and your good to go.

Riva 1100 is better in terms of batter, all you need is the kit and some juice!

Hi and welcome, I haven't tried the 10 motives so don't know if the have a cap that comes off or can be refilled but most cig alikes can be refilled. Someone who has tried them will soon be along and tell you.

Your doing well cutting down your ciggies using a cig-a-like!  I'm not familiar with 10 motives but there is a fair chance that you can refill the cartomisers a couple of times!

If your not too bothered about your e-cig being ciggie sized you may want to think of upgrading to something with a longer battery life?

As Karma says, you can refill it if you can get the cap off without destroying it. If you do destroy the cap, you could replace it with a drip tip like www.vapeescape.co.uk/ribbon-drip-tips~308

But you'd be better off buying a different battery, and also better cartridges (usually called cartomisers) or a tank (clearo) to hold the juice.

It is best to get something more cigar-sized than cigarette-sized, which is why the posts above recommend the Riva and Ego. If you don't think anything bigger than a cigarette is going to work for you then you can still do a lot better than the 10motives - www.vapeescape.co.uk/innokin-aio-pcc-kit~299 for instance is much easier to fill and gives better taste and throat hit, and much cheaper in the long run.

excuse my ignorance but the battery on the kit you refer to looks the same as mine> is it more pwerful than 10 motives?> at the moment I would prefer to stick with more of a cigarette style size as my primary motive is to give up cigarettes and so far so good

Well done. I expect your nicotine intake has plummeted....

Now, in all seriousness, how are you getting on? I'd be tempted to say upgrade to another e-cig; you don't need to go mad, but a decent kit will pay for itself in the long run.

If you are planning on quitting totally, just be careful with your choice.

you will be able to refill the cartos a few times and as it has a 510 fitting blank or prefilled cartos will be easy enough to pick up for around £6 for 5

Sorry, my previous post arrived before I read this.

The size of the device had a few effects on the "vaping". Most of us/some of us use big batteries simply to avoid recharging all the time. I use a Riva because I get a day out of it, not a matter of hours. Today, for example, I have it attached to a regular cartomiser (refill) which I filled up myself with a tasty concoction of tobacco-style liquid.

I am planning on quitting eventually, so I do understand where you are coming from....so please ignore the sarcasm of my last post, if it came over that way.

You can fill the 10 motives cartos that go on the rechargeable (I've done it.)
I actually quite liked the cig-alike apart from cost of pre-filled carts.

The battery life was dreadful as well.
