shocked at a completely one sided view of e cigarettes, you should also address the positives of vaping, Ask any one of the probable one million users just how much e cigarettes have changed their lives. No smell, no tar, no carbon monoxide no cianide as just an example no negative aspects to non users. Ask any of them how much general health has improved from the moment they switch to e cigarettes and also the FACT that nicotine is not the killer in cigarettes but the way it is delivered via toxic smoke!!!! If i could change one thing it would be to never call them electronic cigarettes or look like a cigarette then perhaps they would not provoke such negative reports. Pethaps you could run an item on the poitives next to show both sides.

I would also like to point out that although I really was infuriated at the report, my initial post was intended to be humourous too.

I don't really think The One Show are C###S!! As I sincerely now doubt anyone there is that deep nor has ever given anyone any pleasure.

Ecigs are marketed as an alternative to smoking and some of the marketing does state that they are legal to use in places where it is now illegal to smoke!

So, for a confirmed smoker to state the above quote is quite understandable to me.  It was the reason I got my first e-cig!

for a short moment i thought some positive exposure at last especially as the vendor positively stated the ingredients and stressed that they were safer than smoking, all went downhill very rapidly, One show, One opinion, which was very One sided.

suppose we should not have expected anything else on no smoking day, "a colleague who is a hardened smoker" going to use them so they can get "double their nicotine intake"!

BBC so renowned for their factual reporting ought to be ashamed
