Thanks Jen. But I'm confused again. I can see you need back up batteries but why do you need more than one vaping unit? Is one Evod or whatever not enough? What do you do with the one you're not using? Is it sitting in a drawer? Welcome to the Forum Jen. I thought same as you at first but you will deffo need more than one clearo I'm currently using 5 different ones at the moment all with different flavours in, once you get used to it and discover the joy that is the different flavours you'll understand, I have currently 15 Clearo's cause I believe you can never have enough spares You can get by with 1 or 2 but once you start trying different flavours you'll realise you need more. Vaping can be cheap (certainly cheaper than stinkies for sure) but for some of us shinyitus takes hold and it starts to get crazy icon_shoppingm

They are 650ah. So that doesn't sound so good then. But surely big battery means large cumbersome unit? There must be something that fits the bill! The Riva is not a big battery. If you would like something small and barely larger than a cig-a-like, maybe look into mini ego batteries. Then again, perhaps I am missing the point with those Kanger evods. Everybody should carry two batteries around with them (out and about, one spare) so maybe it would be a stylish set and totally practical too. This one is 900mAh www.ukecigcabin.com/product/evod-double-kitmuch better 2 x EVOD Clearomizer (Rebuildable and for putting the e-liquid in) 2 x 900mah Rechargeable e-cig battery (Matching colour) 1 x USB Charging Cable (for charging the e-cig battery) is £35s worth already 1 x eGo Zip Case (To keep everything together and protected) 1 x Squeezy bottle (To keep the eliquid in) effectively free. Happy days.

I think you get to the point where you just have to take the plunge and buy something myself Molly . . . we can give you options until the cows come home and confuse you even further, but whether they'll suit you, until you try you won't know. Most of us require something different to the next vaper to make it an enjoyable experience . . . and if you get it completely right in a couple of purchases, then you're extremely lucky. It's part of the fun, the experimentation and we have a Classified Board for anything you absolutely hate.

Ok thanks for all your help.
I think I've decided on the Evod plus a spinner. Very helpful video for refilling carts! Didnt know you could do that.
Now I think I've worked out that mods are models? But what on earth is an atty?

But what on earth is an atty? Good chose.... a atty is the coiled up wire that gets hot and vapes the juice ... The evod is a atty but you can pay lots for some of the more custom made ones, when you read about re coiling and re-wicking these are the expensive ones

Ok thanks for all your help. I think I've decided on the Evod plus a spinner. Very helpful video for refilling carts! Didnt know you could do that. Now I think I've worked out that mods are models? But what on earth is an atty? Well chosen that person! I'm only 3 weeks off smoking today, and I've spent a fair bit of time, effort and cash correcting my first (poor) kit choice. I've bought some fairly hefty kit now, and am very happy indeed with that, but last week I also went for an evod (top only) to make better use of the eGo batts I already have left over from the kit. I also have an eGo twist, which is simply another brand of your chosen spinner! I got to say they make a very nice easy to carry around set up for when I am not able to be enjoying the bigger rig in comfort and indoors. I think you made a really good choice there and will find it to be like night and day once you got it all up and running nicely. Finding a flavour or two is not quite so easy, look out for sample sizes to start out with! They are 5ml in many places and can be even less or so I have read. I was buying 10ml at first and that can be an expensive way to sample things, especially if you are not that struck with the one you just got! LOL Good luck, first few purchases are the most dangerous ones, and the decisions the hardest to make! Gets easier as you go along and gain some experience. Good lord did I just type that? Almost sounds like someone making sense, and that just can't be me can it, after only 21 days? LOL

Quick Check Molly.. You did order a charging lead for the Spinner battery didn't you? I doubt the Greensmoke one is a) powerful enough to charge the Spinner before next Christmas and b) it's probably a different thread and wont fit the spinner/riva/ego type batteries. I'd hate for you to have to order a charger separately and have to pay p+P extra just for the one item! I think you made a good choice in the Spinner and an Evod. I ordered some Evods from Charlie's and am looking forward to getting them although Tina, the Evil Tyrant, is threatening to send me a PINK Evod and make me use it in crowded places

Hi all. Well finally received my Evod and so far I'm disappointed. Am I doing something wrong?
Not much, actually very little throat hit and I got a disgusting mouthful of liquid on one occasion! So, is it me?

The Evod battery?
I have fully charged it now and that's made a difference. Also for some reason I removed the rubber collar from the coil which might explain the leak.
its better but still not as fab as I hoped it would be. Maybe it's just getting used to it. I was going to get a vision spinner for it but they were out of stock at the ecig cabin.

If it is a standard or high resistance atty on a regulated battery you won't get a huge amount of poke out of it. Wait until you try it on a vv (spinner) then you will probably see a massive difference.
