Hi! and good tobaaco juice recommendations please

Hi all. New vaper here. I've been lurking and reading, this forum has been really helpful. I got my DIY starter kit sorted last week: evod battery and tank + mini protank 2, with an esmart battery and clearo for social/stealth vaping. This setup works well I'm not vaping constantly and the evod battery lasted nearly 4 days before needing a charge. I did really well, no cigs for nearly a week but unfortunately went back to some Marlboro (gold) today.

I really want this to work but need help with juice recommendations please - I got some deckang USA mix as it was suggested for Marlboro gold (light) smokers which is OK but so sweet - apple breakfast bar. I have some joose juices too (50/50 pg/vg) which are good but sweet obviously. Using these everything tastes so sweet. Can anyone recommend some good tobacco flavours? I'm using 12 mg nic but think I need a lowish Pg content as am really dehydrating on the regular 30/70 mix. (I'm drinking a LOT of water). Any good pointers for organic juice suppliers would also be really helpful.

I can't help on the tobacco flavours as don't vape them at the moment but hopefully somebody will drop some ideas in as we have a few tobacco fans here.

You can select 100% vg when you buy them. I haven't actually tried any though.

I think everybody glugs the water in the first month or so, dehydration is a temporary side effect of the PG.

Good luck with finding a nice baccy flavour, the only ones I like at all are RY4 (sweet) and some home brew which is made by one of the forum members.

The problem with many eliquids and the aftertaste is the synthetic chemical compounds used to create the flavour. Generally, natural flavours don't leave an aftertaste. Suppliers don't seem keen on listing the ingredients used or stating which flavours are naturally derived or the sweetners used ie aspartame. Perhaps this is the wrong thread for this question?

Welcome to you Coffeeand cigs . . . one of my favourite combinations.

This may go some way to answering your question, taken from one of the few Organic/Natural Flavouring sites I know of.

The processes for making organic flavors are much the same as for making natural flavors. The ingredients are organic rather than just natural. You start by using only certified organic ingredients. Because the industry is still very young the technology's to make these ingredients are still evolving. The only solvents that Nature's Flavors use in the development of organic and natural flavors are filtered RO water and organic alcohol. Depending on the flavor, they also employ steam distillation. Fortunately this is in most cases the only methods needed to manufacture these unique flavor concentrates and extracts. There are no chemical residues because there are no chemical solvents used. Many of the organic flavoring ingredients are derived this way first before being incorporated in to water based or oil based organic flavor concentrate. Nature's Flavours has pioneered many of the methods for producing these organic products.

Some of these concentrates can also produce a naturally occurring Diacetyl, which isn't advisable to vape. So that could be another reason why you don't see many, as well as the extra costs involved in producing an Organic/Natural eliquid.

You'll probably find the 3 most common used sweeteners are:

Sucralose
Stevia
Ethyl Maltol

Aspartame is unlikely to be used, as again it isn't recommended for inhalation:

C&C to AAEC....  a good tobacco flavour is Grizwald's Black Cat available from Jason at Vape Escape. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids during your first weeks as a vaper until your body adjusts.
