The latest goings on with the mad woman is that she has spoke to a neighbour who is on a panel with the housing association.

Mad woman wanted to know my housing officer.
Mad woman told him she has dates and times , How can she?.
Mad woman told neighbour she will send one of the sons around to speak to me.
Mad Woman is evil - vindictive - horrible and has got it in for me for no apparent reason.

I called the council late last night and was told by someone that the noise nuisance team would ring me back.

I'm sitting here shaking and having what I think is a panic attack.

Short post because the keyboard might be to loud for next door when typing.

Sorry to hear this stamina . I can feel how upset and angry you are, my heart goes out to you. What an impossible, stressful situation to be in. You have had bucket loads of patience with the woman, I'd have flipped long ago I think.

I know it's easier said than done but take deep breaths and calm down, you will make yourself Ill and I think you are going to have to be incredibly strong here to bring this to an end. And it will end, I'm sure. Please don't let her wear you down to the extent that you can't cope, keep your head above water and fight!

Be your namesake, have stamina you have dealt with this so well up to now, I'm sure you can deal with whatever comes next.

I have spoken to my housing officer again and she has told me not to worry and with my permission she is going to send a letter next door to attend a meeting.
Hopefully the meeting will go well but I doubt it will as neighbour is stubborn.

I'm still waiting for the call back from Liverpool city council noise team to see what they can do about her because I can't believe how a elderly woman can cause me so much aggravation.

Only just caught up with this stamina. You must be at your wits end. She is obviously suffering from something, either dementia, or, some other form of mental health problems. Please try not to get yourself too upset. Plainly the council are on your side otherwise you would have been served one of those noise orders. I can't remember what they are called. Just try to remember that there is nothing anyone can do to you. The onis is on them to prove you are making a noise. As you are not they cannot possibly find any evidence. If she comes knocking at your door tell her to bog off and go to the doctor!!

When I do get a call back from the city council noise team, I will ask them to install some recording device in mine and then when she says I am playing music I will get the noise team to playback the recording to her and hopefully then they will take action against her. I have enough to deal with and she is doing her best to make things worse. I've tried to communicate with her and her son and with her saying to a neighbour that she is sending other son around to see me, makes it sound like she is threatening me. This is why I have decided to take a more sterner approach rather than seek advice. I have ask the police 101 service to log the complaint against her rather than log it in their notes as I did last time on the 5-11-2013. By calling 101 again and calling Liverpool city council, hopefully this will end the pressure she is putting me under. I believe the council has more power than police when dealing with complaints of this kind (Scotland is Different as Police have more power) on what I read on internet. My appropriate action by logging the complaint will not only benefit me but will benefit her in getting the right help.
Most neighbours know I am respectful and next door has said no music has come from mine but this is not enough to her.
Its become a nightmare.

Your neighbour is suffering from Music Hallucinations and unfortunately not a lot you can really do about it and just have to hope someone can convince her what is going on in her head. Then she might believe it is not you making the loud noise.

I have had a quick search for websites to explain it and just grabbed this one as it seems not bad at explaining the symptoms.

I just need the neighbour to recognised that this may well be the answer.

I had a call back from the city council noise team and after discussing the complaint with them, they told me to see how the housing association meeting goes and if it doesn't resolve it, for me to call them back.

Its now a case of waiting for the meeting to take place.
