I know, and thought about merging as it is getting confusing but one thread is in General and the other in Promoting etc.  Any new members will probably look at the general board but this does belong in the 'promoting etc' board  ???

You will always find people who would be anti, that is the world we live in. People don't generally like change and the switch from tobacco to vaping worries them. Anyone who does not smoke or vape, given the choice would sooner not be subjected to breathing vapour from our e cigs. Ask them honestly yourself, we have just got to accept that.

Overall I thought it was a positive programme, that wasn't 30 minutes dedicated to hysterical inaccurate ravings from self styled ' experts '  . . . a good job from the vapers who were interviewed as well.

I'm sorry Perps, I don't agree.  The vapers did well as did the last expert to be wheeled out, which was good cause it was at the end of the programme.

 I think we'll all be answering questions tomorrow about the dangers of vaping oil

I suppose on the whole it was balanced, but I'm not impressed. Of all the vendors he could have interviewed, he interviewed one that has been in the business 6 months ???

He found one death that just might be to do with inhaling oils ??? No mention that there are no oils or at least should not be and no mention of what is in e-liquid

The only bit that I found totally unbiased was the guy from Cancer Research at the end that said e-cigs had to be at least 100 times safer than smoking tobacco

15 countries have banned it, but not mentioned nearly all of them are renowned for bribery and corruption.

Claim little is known about the ingredients, but not actually tell anyone what all the ingredients are.

Interviewing a shop owner making spurious, outlandish claims about ecigs, yet ignore 99% of sensible vendors who wouldn't dream of it.

I will think of more when I'm making coffee.....

You didn't expect it to be all positive did you Karma . . . given the hysteria that has been inaccurately reported in the past, it could have been considerably more harmful to our cause. I would have liked to have seen more time spent discussing what eliquid does actually contain, but in 30 minutes I guess there's only so much that can be included.

We already field questions about the harmful components in eliquid, at least it will give us an opportunity to put the record straight if there are questions asked.

That was a loada crapolla far as I'm concerned. 30 minutes of inaccurate, useless info which will put off the novice and benefit 'them'
