I just recoil my davide using a micro coil Super-Shiny - change the head when it tastes burnt and everything else has failed....sorted

Though spheroid is a good move (but doesn't hold enough juice for me )

OK. 'Normal' coils vs Micro-coils.
Normal coils are made of thinner wire, they have fewer wraps, and it's important that none of the wraps touch each other, or else you get shorts and/or hotspots. It's very difficult to change the wick without also changing the wire. Normal coils can be bought or made.
Micro-coils are made of thicker wire and have more wraps. They are deliberately made to touch each other by heating/squishing so that the whole coil becomes one big hotspot. Wire can be left in place because it's stiffer and the wick changed. Micro coils cannot be bought (yet) so have to be made.

I was wondering how the coil could be any smaller than the one in my evod as that is tiny.
I thought micro meant smaller - ok I'm daft

no sammy13 - you are certainly not daft - just look at all my questions - but thanks to the wonderful people in here I am getting there - meaning I do understand a bit more now - and yeah yeah will try it soon with all the right tools and so

edit : btw I also thought micro coils are smaller - hence all my questions - and micro - ehm does mean small

I think the name comes from the fact that because you squish the wraps together the resulting coil is narrower?
