Unless you are keen on the looks of a mechanical mod, there is no real advantage of a kicked mechanical mod over a regulate mod. There are cheap versions of both available and they both contain electronic chips. Note that I am talking about proper regulated mods (those with a replaceable battery like the Vamo or SVD) and not a regulated battery pack like the MVP or Spinner. do you do use one @yinyang why.

I don't agree, @yinyang. That I can strip down a mech mod, adjust the 510 connector for problems, and, even if not replace the parts of the mod itself (economically), at least re-use the Kick in another mod is a huge advantage over the broken ZMax, MVP and VTR sitting in front of me.

Yes, but we do have the lovely ronaldo who would, very likely, be able to fix them for you, if you so wished

I had a few kicked Nemesis clones but sold them all when I bought my Provari mini. The Provari is my indoor mod with an MVP as a workplace device.

Get yourself a Provari Barry ... you know you really want to ... and stop blaming inferior regulated devices for your mech addiction.

Out of interest, what does it cost (and what effort is required) to replace the 510 connector on a Provari?

Why did I go from vamo, MVP, SVD to mech mods? A) size B) looks This for me too. I burnt through everything in the first 3 months of vaping - I had tried most vw mods, and had shinyitis bad. I was always looking for something smaller and more discreet. Mechs seemed to be a natural progression to go with my RBAs. I started using mechs with a kick, but now don't bother with it. My coils are 1.2-1.4 ohms which gives me a lovely hit when I change the battery, and are perfectly nice all the way through until I have to change it. I stopped using it around the time I got a 14500 mod (so you can't kick it, it's too small) and realised I didn't need it. Since changing, I haven't felt the need to buy so much stuff, which is good for my bank balance! I adore my nemesis and kayfun combo, and my spheroid-a-likes and 14500 mods for out and about. I have other bits and bobs, but these are my go-to set ups that vape exactly as I want them.

Why?
Because I like it for a hobby and I felt I should learn by going back to basics. A battery tube, battery, wire and liquid/container. The variations and designs are limitless. The better and more innovative the design the more I enjoy it. I have a provari which is a great mod but it doesn't present a challenge or learning curve.

Nothing wrong with a Vision Spinner, it works and it works well For me now vaping is about being able to vape faff free, put a simple atty on top and push a button. Just find yourself a decent mod, something solid and strong with a good reputation, something that is faff free. After trying many many mech mods kick or no kick the Provari was more faff free, it works and it works well just like the Spinner. As for atties but i will say you don't need to spend $$$$ for a good vape, they is very little in-between a cheap one or a expensive one but nothing wrong with buying a expensive one though, your money Time for me to
