What made you upgrade to a mech mod?

What was I saying about posting after a session, just knocked over an open 60ml pot of Mniotaur Cleaned the carpet, still smells a bit but tastes great along with an AH 3000

Oh can you clarify what is the kick ring ? I know the little tube is the kick tube but is the little middle gold one a kick ring ? Trying to Google why my 18650s will only fit without it ! (Without the kick in the kick tube , that won't work since it overheated !
And just got some flat top 18350 s and won't fire ! Too rattley with the gold band and too tight without ! Honestly I feel like throwing the bloody thing on the plus side it's a fab vape without the kick in in 18650

jaysey the kick ring is the little brass ring, about 5mm thick. I only use 18490 and with these it only works without the kick ring using nipple top battery's.
There is a fix but you need to buy a longer upper contact.

do you have any 18490 batts, are your 650's nipple top or not ? I have a couple of 650 nipple tops, I'll have a play and see what fits and what bits you need.

Cheap clone or real deal , shouldn't really rest a mech mod on its switch .

Are mech mods good? Yes

Are they safe? Yes, if you can read and understand about battery safety then no probs. I've been using mech mods recently ( previously vamo, SVD, MVP ) I've had zero issues, zero concerns, it's all good.

Do they offer a better vape experience then reg mods ? If you class sub ohm vaping as a better experience then yes. If you don't then, like all things vape quality wise it depends on your tank/Rba / rda setup.

Do you need a kick ? Depends on your preference , if you like vaping at a constant power rating / like the safety aspects of a kick then do it.

Do they look nice ? Hell yes! After using the small form factor of a mech mod ( 18350 size ) going out with a SVD , MVP feels odd.

Do batteries last? I normally build 1.2-1.4 ohm coils ( I'm not a chain vaper) but easily get an evenings vape out them. Just get the efest imr batteries from myepack, no drama , no mystery.


Are mech mods a dark mysterious art? Can you put a battery in a torch and switch it on? Yes ? Then you can use a mech mod.

I have both button and flat 650 but only flat top 350
Only tried button tops without kick as the flat tops are Panasonic 3200 mah and I can't use them apparently without a kick

jaysey the spring on mine from there was useless hence why i wished i had got a haygar nemi 1st(ive ended up using a spring out of a car ciggy lighter lol)
i thinks the little gold ring is supposed to just make it pretty and it might be for useing button top batts ,but mine is so poorly made that its useless(the gold ring)
i have a kayfun clone on mine and it works well now but its still fiddly as fook to take the switch out and in to replace batts
keep it till you get a haygar one then put it in a draw and keep it for spares

not impressed to be honest ! The gold wearing of the lock ring already ! ! Want a ss one but a decent clone ! Il persevere with it for now ! But only less than a tenner so shouldn't expect too much ! Got some magnets coming to rectify the annoying clicky switch !
