I vape indoors whoever is here. I don't vape in shops or enclosed spaces where children could be out of my home. I do vape in the open air but take a little care around children. I do vape in pubs as they are adult environments (where it's allowed). I try not to offend anyone with my vaping and treat each situation as it arises. Yeah pretty much same as me, i vape like how i used to smoke, i even go outside at pubs to vape, just feels wrong doing it indoors, is just weird i dont give vaping inside at home a second thought, seems totally ok even though i never used to smoke analogs inside at home

I think its down to personal choice and conscience , and no doubt it has crossed everyone's mind at sometime when in the presence of a minor, as for myself I have no problem with it as long as its not cloud chasing, but would also respect the view of non family members who have minors with them when in my presence .

I am comfortable vaping in front of children, the same as I am comfortable drinking tea, coffee or alcohol in their presence.
I save the crystal-meth for later :-)

I have 4 boys under 14... I vape in front of them all the time... I also vape in the car ( out of a window ) ... They are all of an age where they know that smoking is a killer and are all really pleased that their old Dad has finally kicked the habit and might just live a bit longer as a result of vaping .... I have done a lot of research and I am happy that their "passive vaping" is not doing them any harm... Obviously I don't blow clouds all over them and I try and be discreet with where I'm blowing the vapour... But bottom line ... Vaping will extend my life and will not harm theirs ... Other peoples kids ..?....... I treat them as if I was smoking and won't do it near them .. Purely because I can't be bothered explaining that it's ok

I vape around my kids. They are old enough, that if they don't like it they can go somewhere else I do blow the vape in another direction and we keep the windows open so long as weather permits. I don't vape around other people's kids, just like I don't vape in other people's houses unless they say it's ok.

Mines 18 now, so hardly a kid. I do vape when we watch tv together, but not nearly as much as if she's not in the house.

I do my best not to be around children in the first place, the only child that does visit is my nephew's son and as both his parents smoke I carry on vaping. Even though I smoked outside my mother who is asthmatic would still get chest infections, the only one she's had since I started vaping she picked up in hospital while in for something else. Dave

I vape around my kids if they're not hiding in their rooms and on occasion blow it in their direction if they want to smell a new flavour. It doesn't bother them and they're just glad I've quit smoking as they kept having a go at me to give up. I didn't smoke around them though. I still tend to treat vaping like smoking when out and about ie restaurants and shops I wait till I'm outside before I puff on it.

Definite NO... wouldn't dream of it.
Vaping to me has got me off the fags, and one of the benefits is that I can go for ages without a vape when in other's company. Different when I'm home, it's always beside me.
But, kids are a very different animal, and I wouldn't want to give any impression that it's cool to suck on (any) stick and blow (smoke) vapour out, just in case they took the wrong route.
It's worked for me, but I don't want to be responsible for influencing or tempting them into 'trying' something that I've spent years trying to overcome.

Seeing as I saw step grandsons today for the first time, 1 week old and I didn't, I voted no.

I put 'yes', but I'm kind of the opposite to the third option - I vape around kids when outside, but not inside in a room with kids in it. It's more about the kids' parents than the kids themselves - it won't do the kids any harm (really, you can check the science if you want), but their parents might object, and in the case of my grandkids I know that they would.
I figure that in the open air the vapour is obviously sufficiently diluted to be harmless.
I'm too old & ugly for anything I do to be thought of as cool.

I have 5 children (1,4,6,12&13).
At first I was a bit dubious about vaping in front of them due to not knowing about the implications healthwise. However, after carefully reading the studies (clearstream in particular) I now have no worries.
The only times I wont vape is if I have any of the younger three on my lap, or when we all go to bed.
I happily answer any questions they have and believe me, 5 kids can be very inquisitive!
All of my liquids are locked in a secure cabinet and lockable beauty box along with anything else that do any harm.
Chargers are on top of the fridgefreezer (batteries are kept in a mini drawer set in the same place)
Vape stand is kept on top of a 6ft unit which is obviously well out of reach. If I leave the room they are put back, unconditionally.
I only ever rebuild when the three youngest are asleep or out of the house. If I need to refill a tank during the day I make a point of doing so in a different part of the house to where the children are at the time. If this isn't possible, I move onto another setup for the time being.
You can never be too careful with our little ones' safety but I am confident that I am not doing them any harm by vaping around them. So to put it bluntly, I will continue to do so until proven wrong by unbiased scientific research.

I'm still in two minds on this.I have a 5 year old myself and when I vape indoors it's well away from him and outside it doesn't make a lot of difference , but obviously well out of breathing distance. He does know I vape , but doesn't really have any questions , which I did find surprising.
I DON'T think hiding vaping from children is a good idea and here's my reason why. When your young , the kids that couldn't have any kind of alcohol ( for example , a shandy at Christmas ) or their parents were totally against it were the ones that abused it when they could and did for a long time. Open discussion of what your doing and WHY you are vaping in the first place , will stop ( a very small percentage, but we don't want this to grow ) youngsters taking up vaping having not smoked as we all smoked and stopped using vaping.Use vaping wisely and educate children why your doing it is a lot more effective , but let them know it isn't entirely healthy as there is nicotine there. As far as other children are concerned , that is a minefield , as different parents have different ideas on vaping, be them right or wrong, they have their view and normally stick to it , even when they're given the facts. This is where the WHO should and I mean SHOULD be giving FACTS and not just a biased point of view because of donations from the " Usual Suspects".So until people like the WHO and our our "pocket liners" e.g Professor John Ashton give the true facts as we know them , the general public will be infected by their lies.
