Hi all - am here, am good, appointment with doc on Friday. But am absolutely fine again now! Thanks for all of your concern.

Perpy - sorry hun - but my phone has gone tots-up. Apparently my sim card is 'rejected', no signal etc???? I phoned Orange to be told that my sim card is old (yes, it's 10 years old - I keep moving into a new phone when I replace them). Thus am having to wait for a replacment sim to arrive. It is a nuisance because people are texting me and assuming that I am ignoring them. Daughter is currently in France and thus the plan was that she would text from time to time just to let me know they were okay! She is having to phone my landline from her mobile, which is costing a fortune fo course. Such a pain. But thanks for your text. I shall probably get a flood of them once the new card arrives.

So glad to hear that James is back - and with new recipes. Can't wait.

What a damn nuisance about the sim card! I do the same with mine, I have my SO's old phone every time he upgrades and just swap the card over, but don't use the phone much so maybe it doesn't wear out so fast

So sorry folks - thoughtless of me not to have realised that you would wonder where I was. Have actually had a rubbish week so far on other fronts. You name it, and it has gone wrong this week. Latest is my fridge freezer - which is now emitting the most awful smell!!!!!! After huge argument with Samsung (warranty only just expired of course) via internet I discovered that the problem with this model is very well known - so much so that Watchdog picked it up. So - lots of phone calls and arguments with the Samsung 'helpless-line' to finally get an engineer coming out - on Friday!

Have also been sorting cupboards - and have found so many things I had forgotten I had bought! Duh...

I've washed a few nets tonight, does that count? Ashamed to say they were cream coloured with the effects of smoking, darkening to possibly a latte colour at the tops. Maybe they'll stay white(er) from now on?
