Good riddance in my view. I agree with the sentiments about the petition. Anyone who signed it must be brain dead. Why would anyone want to employ anyone who goes around punching people because the lunch wasn't up to standard. The BBC will probably save money now he has gone.

Top Gear is a massive money spinner for the BBC, personally, i'd be happy to pay a bit more towards the license fee to make up the shortfall.

This guy takes arrogance (definition : offensive display of superiority or self-importance) to new heights & thinks the rules only apply to everyone else.

The thing is that people like Clarkson give a certain air of excitement in the face of the stuffy, prude and frankly downright boring BBC and i like nothing better than watching people like him make the controllers squirm from what he might say or do next. That said he is a tit for what he did and deserves the sack. RIP Top Gear, i give it another series without him then it goes to channel 5.

Sad over a million people signed a partition to allow him to get away with violence at work and now he gets to add the Top Gear staff to the Rover staff who will blame him loosing them their jobs, though I doubt they bump into him in the dole queue.
