Hi all - my new Tornado arrived promptly from TECC. Happy bunny, especially as my new James's flavours arrived at the same time. (Thank you Mr J ) But............. having gone to plug in the batteries to the charger provided in the kit - I can't get either one of them to fit/scew in etc. :-[ The unit is different to my Riva one - bigger - with an obvious hole for where to stick/screw it - but it won't! They do however, happily fit my Riva charger with no probs, and appear to be 'charging'. Before I ring TECC for advice (possibly alerting them to my numpty status - which I would obviously like to avoid if poss :-[ ) has anyone else ordered/received their Tornado and made a better job of it than I have - well, haven't!? , wandering off very confooosed. :-[ > > > >

Haven't recieved my Tornado kit yet Hanow so sorry I'm no help to you. I *think* I did read that the Riva charger charges the batteries quicker than the Tornado though, but you still obviously want the new one to work.

Just can't figure why batteries don't fit in. So will wait to hear from others. James - 'Have I told you lately that I love you?' Am currently vaping a mixture of your juices - and am in heaven. Haven't even tried the new ones yet. So wanting to see if the new cappucino is 'coffeed' enough to hit my e-cig spot! xxxxx >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Okay folks - panic over - have sorted it. Spoke to a lovely lassie at TECC. There is an extra gadget bit in the kit that attaches to the battery prior to plugging into the charger. You will/should find it inside the cone! Sorted - happy bunny now >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hi guys...the charger they send out with the Tornado is the standard titan/510 unit and you need to screw an adapter in (which should be in the box) first, then the battery...
if it's not in the box, just use your Riva charger, but get onto them to send the adapter, as you never know when you'll need the spare charger....

Thanks Lilac - yes, all sorted now and charging up. As you say, Riva charger doesn't need to extra gizmo - so second battery on charge with that one. xxxx

I've only just seen this thread - could have advised earlier if I had seen it. I got my two Tornado kits yesterday and luckily found the adaptors straight away as we could hear a rattle from the cone area! I believe everything is interchangeable, for charging. The Tornado doesn't come with a USB charger, just the mains.

So which but of the following did I say wrongly? Email sent to TECC yesterday -
Non working charger. Hi there, I recently placed an order, which arrived today. Order number 25434. However, the charger in the titanium Tornado kit does not appear to work. The other one in the red kit is fine. We have checked the fuses and these are fine. The cable is ok also. Please advise. Regards Kath Hudson
I received this response -
Dear Kath I am sorry that you have a problem so soon .I take it that you need a new red tornado battery is that correct. If yes I will get that out to you with a SAE to return the faulty one. regards Gillian
I have emailed back - Hi Gillian, No, that is NOT correct! I need a new Tornado charger. (Not the cable.) Kath
We will see.......

Maybe they've had a few complaints and Gillian isn't very good at speed reading ??? ah well, as long as they replace it....
I've just emailed Tim at Smokejuice where i bought my Mako, telling them my charger is faulty, they replied within a few mins, telling me they would send a replacement.

I think TECC are really busy due to the high sales. They apologised for their delay in responding to an email I sent & said it was due to the high sales and emails they've been receiving due to the half price sale.

Not at all surprised they are busy & getting a tad confuddled occasionally - the sale prices are fantastic
