Not had an atty like that for ages. but I'd take it as a sign its goosed. It took me ages to come round to accepting atties are a disposable item. I used to mess around with dying atties trying various methods to fix them. It's not worth the hassle anymore. Chuck it and stick a new one on. That's my answer

make sure there is enough fluid in it Plenty of juice in it james. Guess it's a gonna. I'll give it one more wash through, just to be sure as sure, then bin it. To be honest 901's are lasting so much better on my 510, than the 510's are.

The one thing I do find that prolongs the life of an atty by a week or so when it's on it's last legs, is to vape at a higher voltage - I do this now with all my failing ones with the GD pass thru - another week is another week it doesn't hit the bin!

I agree with Perpy. I also agree that my 510s (which I've only had a couple of) haven't lasted as well as 901s do on average.
Evan, don't throw your atties away, anyway - they sometimes revive without doing anything to them, after a rest.

Evan - took me ages to learn that a hot atty wasn't working. I was busy changing everything else. I assumed hot meant working. Not so. But as suggested, don't bin them yet. Leave them for a few days, make sure you clean them out forst, then try again. Be sure to use a fully charged battery and a filled cart - then if still no vape, then you can give up on it. Many of mine have revived again and again!

So far the longer lasting atties have been the red ones from TECC. I bought a few different colour packs & defo the red ones seem the best so far. Got to say, I've never had any revive themselves

I came to terms with the fact that atties are both disposable items and variable in quality a long time ago. It is basically a lottery. I've gone through a 5 pack of LR901s recently - two lasted about two weeks each, two died in a day or two, and one is still going strong at nearly four weeks....

Just a thought folks - how much would you all be prepared to pay for an atty that was guaranteed to last 6 months for instance? Not even sure it would be possible for them to be made to last that long, but if it could be possible.....

This may be rather mean of me - but I'd risk £20 on one of those, Chrissie Maybe more if tried and tested. scylla

It seems a very attractive notion a guaranteed 6 months worth of use from an atty - not least because I went through 4 last night that had sparked up when I tested them on purchase then promptly died on the first fire when I went to use them. > Have to say, so far from all the attys I've had from various suppliers Eastmall ones seem to be the most long lasting. * Should have spell checked first! *
