Hello Harty,
Can we call you Herman, as in Herman the German? It's not offensive, just English humour.
Welcome!
Clive.

Wow, loads of new info in this thread, I've never once managed to revive any of my kit, so I always end up binning stuff in favour of new.
I'm still spending far less than on smokes, so that's a win.

I find after a year of vaping I'm still chewing chunks of skin from inside my mouth! It's ok first thing in the morning, the skin in your mouth recovers fast, but by the end of the day I'm picking bits off again. Sounds grim, but that's better than smokes. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Oh, I also bought all sorts before finding this forum and getting pointed in the right direction. We live and learn.

What a story! Must've been terrifying! I never thought I'd ever give up the smokes, but almost a year on and I can't stand the smell of ciggies anymore. Stick with it, plenty of options out there, I still get excited when I'm waiting for a new device to arrive.
Best of luck.

Hi Chrissie,
Have tried a few and to be honest, not impressed. They seem to spit quite a lot, which isn't nice. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I've tried the Riva v3 which spat loads, Kanger T2 which spat, trying another Kanger at the mo and guess what! It spits! The only one I've had much success with was the Riva v2, might get a couple of those again.
Many thanks and any other suggestions are welcome.
Bye for now.

Ah, ok, so the carts are better then? I'll stick with those if that's the case.
Many thanks.

Hi guys and girls, been a while, still loving the vaping. I've converted several more people from the smokes too!
I'm curious about atomisers and cartridges, can someone give me a quick lesson in how to use them? Pros and cons compared to carts?
Many thanks.

Thanks for all the replies!
I've got two converted friends who are totally sold on the vape, two more are interested.
Watermelon is definitely on the next shopping list, probably raspberry too. Strawberry ice cream isn't bad. Fruit? I just can't believe I've switched!

Hi everyone,
Been a while since my last visit, sorry about that, busy at work, new phone etc. switched to an iPhone, not yet convinced that it's any better than android, but stuck with it for two years now, so time will tell.
Anyway, had a bit of a revelation in the last few days, concerning flavours and taste buds. A few of my mates have converted to vaping (thanks to me!) and are loving it. However, one of them started trying fruit flavours as the baccy flavours weren't doing it for him! Now recently I've not been getting the pleasure I used to from the baccy range and so thought I'd do something I thought I would never do!
Yup, I'm now fruit vaping and can't believe how good it is! Top of the list is peach at the moment, followed by cherry. I never, in a million years, thought I'd turn my back on baccy flavours! But a whole new world of flavours has just opened up to me!
Sorry to ramble, but just had to share!
Happy new year everyone!
Oh, and I'm still not eating celery!

Getting the multi-meter out tonight, I'll test it and see if it has a dead short.
Yeah, that's true, back-ups for your back-ups.
