Interesting post VB, does reducing the temp also reduce the build up of crud on the coils? I love my VT200 & looking forward to getting my Efusion. I'm using large deck drippers, with typically 13 wraps of .3 Ni200. The vape is lovely, but the coils go black very quickly. Usually have the temp set to 450 or so.
Over a few days I get a big build up of deposits on the coil, I do try and clean them, but on a single coil build it's usually easier to just change the coil. Juices are almost exclusively dessert flavours, custards & the like, so already prone to dirty coils. What sort of temp do you vape at on a DNA device?
Thanks - Bob

Are you sure that you had the air set to it's minimum on the subtank? Sometimes the adjustable ring can be stiff. To test, you should be able to put your fingers over the air holes and try & vape, in theory you shouldn't be able to get any air in at all like that. If you do, you have an air leak somewhere. With the air set to it's lowest on the subtank I have trouble getting any air at all, so can't think that it can be too airy if it's set up correctly. Just a few thoughts

It sounds like you need an emergency backup account at Fastech. Just set it up with a one click order, prepaid, then just click this icon on your desktop, when you can feel yourself not spending enough. Could save a visit by the paramedics

@hondo - nice post & welcome aboard
After playing with vaping for quite a while, I still couldn't quite get off the fags. It was good, but not good enough, until I discovered lung inhales on a subtank mini. That was the turning point for me, within 48hours I stopped smoking & haven't had the desire to smoke again.
We're all different, so other peoples journey will be different, but I'm assured that with the right support. most cigarette smokers could get off the ciggies. Just need to find what works for them.

I've got both in the freezer. I've defrosted & used the VG base after 2 years and it was fine. Only just got the pG based so won't know that for another two years or so, I'm afraid.
I suspect that it won't matter, after all the temp will be the same, but not an expert.

This happens to me sometimes, provided there's nothing obviously wrong, I just wick them and fire away. A couple of button pushes and they seem to sort themselves out and the resistance changes to a more realistic number. Don't know why, it just does

Mine has arrived at my son's place in the UK. Thanks for the great service vapegeek Trouble is, he's also a vaper, so he gets to play with it for 12 days before he comes over here

Their Butterscotch is one of the nicest ever for my tastes Ryan . . . . 30% with 2% of Cream, again CCW is delicious and very morish. Will be getting a bottle of that on my next order, thanks ???? I'm vaping CCW butterscotch now after seeing your post Perpetua a month or so ago. When I first started mixing, over 2 years ago, I bought a load of CCW flavours. They have sat in my vape box for a long time untouched and unloved. Wouldn't have thought to use as much as 30% in a mix. Anyway, I made some up on the 11th Sept and have just started vaping it. Sadly, my wife loves it, so she's next to me dripping away, and I've got some in the subtank. The 80ml that I made isn't going to last very long. The house smells lovely & I will have to buy some more soon

I set mine to 14.43 as recommended, the battery was running out of power while the indicator bar was showing 25% or so. I read that a more realistic number was around 11.1, so set mine to that. At least now it shows flat when it's flat.

Ok So what Hcigar said was that they buy the batteries as 1300mah, and they are looking into the complaint i put yestarday about them being a bit lower than stated. However, now we are on the third batch of VT200, (expected next week)and they assured me of new batteries in the devices, and gold plated SS 510 connector instead of the brass as on the first versions, so lets see what we gonna get next week. Rob VT200 battery very disappointing, don't get more than three hours on sensible build with TC. Will be interesting if they acknowledge that they have a problem & offer to fix it, it's not a cheap mod. On the plus side, just ordered an Efusion from you this morning, marked as dispatched already so looking forward to try that one out

Good choice with the subox rorocalhoun will get you going in the right direction. My wife still uses hers daily and it works very well. It won't be long before you're drooling over the latest new piece of kit, like the rest of us Any more questions just ask

No shame & no mistake if you've manage to be off the cigarettes for 18 months, very well done. If you've looked around the forum, you'll see hundred of different devices, mods, coils etc, it's a bit overwhelming at first. Personally I'm a big fan oft he subtank mini, coupled with something like an Istick 50 watt mod. Both are good quality & offer good value in my opinion (other opinions will vary The subtank has coils that are widely available, and you can get huge clouds or not as you prefer. It also has a rebuildable deck that you can coil & wick yourself if you wanted to go in that direction, although many people are happy with the price & availability of the stock coils. Shopping in China can make it all even cheaper if you can wait for delivery. As for juices, the world's your mollusc, all down to personal taste. Personally I mix my own, as many of us do, so can't comment on retail juice. Hope that helps a little, I'm sure that many others will chip in with their opinions soon. Well done & welcome - Bob
