I run a small Facebook group "Algarve Vapers", I post links to & from it, including advocacy, petitions etc. Not had a problem so far.

Think I remember some "ketchup" squeezy bottles in the restaurant supplies bit of Makro. Will be giving them a try out next time I'm there.

It can be done with ss, but you just need more luck or more trial and error and in the end it is not as sensitive as Ni or Ti. For coils building NiFe30 would be a better bet fro DNA200 IMO, not any help for coil heads. Oh dear - another wire to try I still find Ni200 a bit dry & cool compared to Kanthal. I have some Ti, but haven't got around to trying it yet. Will have a look at the NiFe30

I doubt if its the nic as i have soley used the same for the last year. ( and 3 ltr in the freezer) All nic base will have some tint to it, and does not detract from its use. Nic gone off will usually have a peppery smell or taste in your liquid,. What is more likely, and i have found this especially with custards is you need to let it breathe overnight when mixed otherwise i have found you can get a chemically harsh vape. Infact its a common reference on a FB forum i am on ( VHB) that just about every mix has a breathing time between 12-24hrs, then steeped up to 4 wks min. I'm on the same forum and it's been discussed a few times, and must say that I agree. There are some alcohols in the concentrates that need to evaporate off, some flavours are worse than others. It can also leave the juice tasting harsh. If your juice has a slightly "chemical" smell or flavour, that could be the trouble. I tend to let my newly mixed juices have 24hrs with the cap off to try and reduce it. Sometimes needs a bit more of a shake & another 24 hours before the smell goes. Maybe worth a try?

When you say "normal mode", do you just mean wattage mode with the SS coils? If so, what watts give you the "best" vape?
If it's working great in wattage mode and poor in TC, then it's not getting enough (or I suppose too much) power to the coils.
I'm not an expert on Escribe, but could you see the watts on the graph in TC mode when it's poor, then compare with the graph on Escribe in wattage mode & the vapes good. That might give you a clue.

Great idea for the squeezy bottles, less faffing with a tiny funnel that doesn't like VG. I can use them for Nic base, PG, and VG. Happy to use the droppers on the flavours. Excellent -

I'm just about to push the button on 10 of those from FT. Vape a lot of custard, so that's a bit worrying

Mine was also a cheap electronic jobbie from Ebay, measures from .01 to 100 grams. I did a big mix today, 250 ml, so used the little one for all the concentrates & the PG, then used some digital kitchen scales for the VG (accurate to 1 gram). I just reset back to 0 after each component before adding the next one. Really did save a lot of faffing about

Finding what works for you can be a bit of a journey. Don't worry about it if you have the odd ciggie while you're finding the best setup for you. It can take a bit of time, but as you say it has all moved on such a long way in the last couple of years. I duel fuelled for quite a long time until I discovered lung inhales on a subtank mini. That was the kit that allowed me to stop the fags completely. However, many people are very satisfied with mouth to lung vaping, we're all different. So take your time and try different setups, tanks, mods & juices whenever you have an opportunity. There will be something out there that hits the sweet spot for you, the trick is finding it

Autumn is like a second spring here, it's so dry through the summer it all looks burnt and brown. Now we've had a bit of rain, it's all turned green again, the flowers are out again, lovely Hehe same here reefcat - we've had a fair bit of rain these past few days, in amongst the sunshine & some lovely rainbows have sprung up. One minute we have fantastic blue skies with not a cloud in sight, then all of a sudden a few clouds materialise and a downpour of that lovely wet stuff we haven't seen for months on end goes pitter patter pitter patter on my terrace, what is that noise I say to my other half, oh yeah tis that stuff we don't see too often falling out of the sky Mind you tis still bloomin hot here. It was 32 degrees in the shade on my terrace during a rain shower this afternoon. Had to dash out and bring my washing in, not used to that It's still in the low twenties at the moment, a few showers & the odd heavy showers as well. We've been taking advantage of the cooler weather to get out on the bikes, which we are both enjoying, thanks to vaping allowing us to breath again We had to go to a bike shop today, my wife is suffering from bruised lady bits, so a gel saddle cover & some padded shorts will hopefully sorted her out. Also got a load of mixing done this afternoon, bought a bum bag to carry all our vaping kit when we pluck up courage to do a few longer rides. Life is good

Saw a post from lairey recently about mixing by weight & thought I'd give it a go. I hadn't realised that my favourite calculator (www.dot1ml.com) had a weight function. It has defaults set for VG, PG & PG based flavours so thought I would go with those. It was a bit of a rainy day today, so got all my mixing kit, chose a few recipes I fancied and off I went. Kreeds Pinapple Upside Down Cake, a Muffin Man clone & a Milk & Honey Clone What a revelation, so easy compared to my normal combination of measuring cylinders & syringes. Just really easy, really quick, & minimal clean up. Think the syringes will be packed away and into the garage. Just got to be patient now for the steeping, but quietly confident.

I don't think there are any rules, just down to your sense of taste. I've had a few strange flavours when I've topped up a tank with a new juice, the transition period can be interesting. A purist would say that I should clean the tank and wick before changing, but I quite enjoy the adventure of never to be repeated flavours.
Not sure I would bother with gloves if you're just mixing juice. Strong nicotine base is another matter though, I don't, but many people would suggest that you use gloves for 72mg & upwards nic base.
Hope that helps

I built a guitar neck once with laminated Brazilian rosewood & ash. A rosewood finger board on top, but the look of the alternate wood colours was lovely to look at. Keep the template Nick
