Welcome aboard willbear & very well done on stopping smoking. I'm sorry I have no idea about cigalikes, although I started on skycigs originally but soon found kit that was so much better and more satisfying. Hopefully someone else will be along soon to answer your question. In the meantime enjoy your vaping journey, there's never been a more enjoyable way to do yourself a lot of good.

When you're in "change temp" mode, scroll past 600F and it should say OFF. You're now in power mode.

Wtf is a Clapton/Hendrix coil? I was wondering that as well, maybe it's the same as a clapton, but left handed?

Got to be worth a try then, even if I only get 3 or 4 out of 5 working, still good value. Thank you for all your comments

I have wondered about sous vide. I have a vacuum sealer, mainly for the bacon & sausages I make. I suspect that the temp controller I have could be modified to run a sous vide setup. Will have to do a bit of research.

I seem to remember a thread in the summer that was almost derailed by some BBQ chat. Sure there were one or two enthusiasts on here. My second hobby is "low & slow" BBQ cooking on a smoker, pulled pork, brisket, ribs are the classics, although I'll have a go at anything. I have a Weber Smokey Mountain dedicated hot smoker & a Kamado Joe ceramic grill/smoker. I make my own bacon, and have 4 loins of pork curing in the fridge at the moment. They will be cold smoked in about 10 days time then sliced and put in the freezer. Slow cooked brisket, if you haven't tasted it is the nectar of the gods, absolutely delicious. It takes 9-10 hours to smoke, but it's so worth it. I have a computer controlled "pit controller" linked to the PC by wi-fi, so that I can manage the cook from inside the house. It's a home made device that controls the temperature within tight limits, it's a lot of fun. You can probably tell that I like my food, curry, BBQ, fish, love it all Anyone else?

My velocity has dual 13 wrap .30 nickel coils in it. Been using the build on custard flavours for about a week now and the cotton and coils were starting to look a bit manky, the nickel had a brown deposit over the wire, although the taste was still OK.
So I teased the cotton out and tried it in the ultrasonic cleaner for 10 mins, and they came out beautifully. Not shiny like new, but not far off. Just rewicked them and it's good to go.
Normally I would have just re-coiled, but even on the velocity it's a bit of a pain to get the connections just right, so really pleased to have found this.
Anyone else clean their Ni200 coils?

It was indeed your post chykensa, but I suspect it could have applied to all of us. Lost count of the times I have an order on it's way, and before it gets here, someone posts a new "must have" recipe, and I'm missing just one vital flavour. The postage to over here is so steep that I have to wait a while before justifying the cost. So I list the missing ones out on a spreadsheet, and sometimes weeks later, put the order in. Then by the time it gets here I've forgotten what it was for in the first place. Then I discover that another key component that I had in stock when I first made my list, has now run out, so it starts all over again. The joys of quantum alchemy

Just had my first taste of KK, 100ml was mixed on the 28th August, shaken but not stirred. 70vg & 6mg nic, on a twin nickel build velocity on the DNA 200. Yummy, very smooth not too sweet, right up my street.
Thanks for the recipe, will be making some more, highly recommended

Too many good reviews to resist anymore. So ordered two plus a couple of twin coil decks.

I remember a tiny little transistor radio with no speaker, just a white plastic ear phone. Luxumberg fading in and out again every few minutes. Was a relief when Caroline, Jackie and Radio London arrived, at least you could hear them reasonably well.
