I may get slated down on this one, but I jumped into 36mg nic being a 25 / 40 a day rolly smoker and that worked a charm. You know, I don't think number of ciggies per day is anywhere near as important as how strong those ciggies were. If you only smoked 5 a day, but they were unfiltered, high strength coffin nails, would 18mg really be a good replacement? On the other hand, if you'd smoked 60 Silk Cut white label a day, would 36mg be a replacement? Hubby smoked around 40 Cutter's Choice menthol-filtered rollies a day. Most of his current juices are 12-16mg, and I think he started a bit too low. He's ok with it now though, after nearly 4 months. I smoked around 20 B&H Silver hand mades (in a long-filtered tube) per day, after years of smoking 20 Mayfair Smooth a day. 12mg for me is fine, with 18mg for first thing in the morning and around 6mg for evenings. 24mg, the recommended strength for a PAD smoker, is way too high for me and leaves me feeling nauseated. So I would try to match the strength, rather than the amount, of ciggies I think.

Most of the ones I have are 18-20 or 24 mg I got one 36 benson & hedges but its harsh as hell and i cant use that, its rank (i smoke roll ups golden viginia, but use flavoured papers have done for years, either coconut (cant get them anymore though) or bubblegum, blackberry brandy or blueberry (these are flavour of papers i use) as for liquids I have nit found one I like all that much and tried about 10 blueberry is ok some of the baccy flavours not bad, most taste pretty much the same though to me 1. Sounds like you need something stronger, in a flavour you like. Pick one, any one. You can get all the paper flavours you used to use in a vape, obviously those tastes will be stronger than the paper was. I'd recommend a tobacco blend right now, something like Griz's Black Cat (Licorice Tobacco) or one of Froggie's baccy blends, or maybe a Brandy flavour (I know they're out there, can't think of the brand right now although hubby loves his Dekang Whiskey) 2. I'd be willing to bet my Vamo that the juices you have taste the same to you because your taste buds/sense of smell is shot from smoking. It will come back, and you will be able to taste the differences, but only if you can stay off the stinkies entirely for a while (up to a month, perhaps longer). 3. Don't try to recreate your smoke in a vape, it won't happen. Sounds like you need something smooth, but with a good hit. And a lot of nic. Something smooth at 36mg perhaps. Any ideas, you high nic users out there? Edited to add: Please don't feel bad for smoking along with vaping. Many, many members dual-fuelled for a while, some for a long while, and some have done for years. Count the ones you don't smoke, not the ones you do. You've come a long way already, you should be proud of yourself. The rest is just tweaking it til the stinkies fall away naturally. And if they never do, then they don't. Just keep on keeping on.

Greeny, if you are still on stinkies that suggests to me that maybe your juice is not strong enough. Higher nic juice will also give you a bit more TH. If you know what flavours you like already, preferably one you already have, get the highest nic content you can in that juice. If it's too much, you can dilute it with some of the lower nic version you have already. What strength are you using currently?

I can't tell from the TW site Sue, which is a bit bad actually as they really should list the ingredients. Is there no ingredients list on the bottle?

:)If the Platinum Ice is PG based and I've ordered AVG as a dilutant should I have ordered some extra PG aswell :-[ Cos I didnt Not necessarily Sue. I bought 2 bottles of PG and one of VG, but because my nic is PG based as are all my flavourings I ran out of VG before I'd finished the first bottle of PG. Depends on what PG/VG mix you like, and what base your flavourings use. If your flavours are PG based that's 20% PG or thereabouts right there, and if you're mixing at 24mg say that's another not-far-off 50% PG. PG doesn't cost much anyway (bit more than VG though), I had 500ml Pharma grade off eBay for about £8 delivered.

Those would have been my chosen flavour combo's as well Sister Dizzi. Sorry Perps, it's just that every time I see your name on the Mixing board I get this mental picture of a nun, complete with wimple, sitting at a refectory table and dripping bits of this n that into bottles... Whereas Frogster and Ash bring to mind a Hogwarts potions class. Ignore me. I'm just a bit odd.

I agree with Sister Perpetua mix up 5ml of each of your flavours in your preferred strength (that calculator is brilliant btw). Once you've given them each a taste, you can try mixing them together. Mixes that come immediately to mind: Cappucino & Vanilla Chocolate & Pecan Pie Chocolate & Amaretto Cappucino & Amaretto Golden Virginia & Vanilla Chocolate & Vanilla Try mixing them at 10-20% flavouring tobegin with, depending on how strong they smell. You can always add more flavouring, or add pre-mixed flavourless if the taste is too strong, Oh, and get thee a notebook, and use it. I failed to do this and now can't remember any of the tweaks I made to any of my recipes

Me too... I was going to start with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (Alba Vapours) and CCW Raspberry with a bit of sweetener and take it from there. I've not done a lot of mixing recently as I have sooooo much juice already and won't be getting to this for a while, so will be following this thread with interest!

I use Q=tips for that Karma, easier than fiddling about with tissues. A box of billions of 'em (it seems like) for 99p from Savers chemist or Home Bargains or similar.

I've had this happen to ordinary Egos once or twice, has the edge of the button worked itself under the edge of the hole? If so you should be able to just wiggle it free. You might need to use a small screwdriver or similar to get it out. And as these have an automatic 5 second shit off, you shouldn't have had any overheating problems.
If the button has any play in it all, it might just be that it's turned itself off, so 5 fast clicks should turn it back on. I've had a battery turn itself off in my pocket, thought it was dead til I tried the 5 clicks!

And make sure the atty is screwed in firmly (if it's a rebuildable one) and doubly make sure you've screwed the mouthpiece in - they are not just a push fit like an ordinary drip tip/mouthpiece, they are threaded and need screwing in.

I got mine fully refunded this morning, after sending another dispute message through PP yesterday. I'm happy with this, I know he's busy and pretty much flat out with orders being sent, orders being returned from customs, refunds to be made etc. I've been told by my bank that PP refunds can take up to 10 days to be credited, but hopefully won't be that long. Think I'll wait to re-order til after the Chinese New Year, maybe wait til March or so.
I have absolutely no problem with ordering from him again, as Robby says he's a victim of his own success - and the language barrier makes things that much more difficult. I don't believe for one second that he's out to pull a fast one - I think he was just unprepared for all this and I don't blame him for that. In a couple of months he's had to entirely rebuild his website due to a virus attack, his sales (mostly overseas) have shot through the roof and now these customs issues. He's just one bloke trying to do his best. I hope he manages to get some useful staff on board and these customs problems are resolved soon.
