Wish they'd had someone on who was using e-cigs as a replacement for smoking rather than someone who'd used an expensive cig-a-like to quit though :-[

Mary if you remove the head and look down the centre tube where the head screws into, you can see the top of a metal post. Use something to give that a push and it will come out of the bottom. The rest is as Ash says above.
If you search the forums (and probably Google) for "Toddoid" you can find Todd's instructions for making one. If you make one, as you are called Mary and not Todd, yours would be a "Mary-oid"!

Health-E-Vape, lots of their juices offer extra flavours and you can ask Callum in the PayPal notes for different PG/VG mixes. Buy 3 bottles by midnight tomorrow and get a bottle free

Hmmm, I don't recognise that one, both my Ego Cs are Twists... maybe someone will be along in a mo who knows more than I do. But don't charge it til you know what's up with it, if it's got a faulty PCB you don't want to be mucking about with it.

Sounds like you've got it turned up higher than it should be cambermam - try twisting the dial on the base clockwise and see how it tastes then.
ETA = if you can't turn it any further clockwise and it still tastes bad, contact the vendor and DON'T USE IT OR CHARGE IT - you may have a duff PCB in it making it push out more volts than it should.

+1 for Eddings. If you don't want the "farm boy has magical powers and saves the world" storyline give the Belgariad/Mallorean a miss and go for the Elenium/Tamuli instead. Sparhawk aint your ordinary fantasy hero - middle-aged, battle-scarred, flawed and grumpy knight. There's a fair few cliches in there, but also some original moments too - not least of which is the Elenium ending which is a bit more "honest" than happy-ever-after (a little like Tolkien in that regard imo). Also The Redemption of Althalus has a thief as our hero, a really good "light" standalone read.
Also +1 for Feist for serious fantasy and Pratchett's Discworld for humour with some breath-takingly astute observations about people and society generally. The later ones are more serious, with the last Snuff one of the most thought-provoking fantasy books I've ever read.
Also you could try Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series, I've not read them for years but I remember reading about 5 of them (big thick books too) in a week!
And another +1 for Marion Zimmer Bradley.

I logged a message in PP's transaction centre yesterday, asking to cancel my order (placed 3rd Jan). Not heard anything back yet. Going to give it another couple of days max then escalate it. I really hate having to do this, but needs must I s'pose...

Haven't tried their RY4 MP, but can vouch for the gorgeousness of: Afro Dizziac (peppermint/aniseed), Green Steam (blueberry/blackberry), Strawberri, Jack the Ripple (raspberry ripple icecream), High Voltage (cherry menthol), Vamp Vape (caramel). If you already know you like RY4 type flavours, give theirs a go - they make superb juices.

I like the new labels as well Callum. And I really like the bottles you use, easy squeezy! As for the juices, where to start...
Vanilla Ice Cream (freebie) - left this one to steep, smells lush, will be trying in the next couple of days Apple & Blackcurrant Liquorice - not sure yet, leaving this to steep a bit longer Pine Water - lovely, nice & fresh, hubby's new fave (good thing we got a freebie of this one too) Peppermint Liquorice - one of my new favourites, liquorice is not overpowering and neither is the mint, perfectly blended (and again, good thing we got a freebie of this also!) Butterscotch - not much taste straight out of the box, needs steeping Vanilla & Caramel Macchiato - could vape this all day (am vaping it right now in fact), glorious coffee with vanilla & caramel notes, anyone who likes coffee vapes should try this one Danish Swirl - tastes just like a cinnamon Danish smells, yummy (I swap this around with the Macchiato in the morning, it's just like having a lovely pastry with a posh coffee) Amaretto Chocolate Cake - another one that needs steeping Caramelized Apple - this one's also been steepng and is going to be my evening vape tonight - smells gorgeous! Apple Pie & Custard - I get more Apple Pie from this than custard, the custard is very subtle but it is there. Another one I swap between all day
Will be buying some more before the offer ends, cos Callum's juices are great and I'm greedy lol!

Are you aware that you need to screw the mouthpiece in ? I'm thinking it's either that or the atty's unscrewing on the inside, leading to leaks down the centre tube. Exhale actually says on the site that everything needs tightening up before use as well. There's also the fact that these are quite high ohms at 2.6 to 2.8 - so it's not going to put out much vapour on that battery. I'd be wanting 2.4 max and preferably 1.8 to quit stinkies. ETA Greeny if you got the CE5 clearos like the ones from Vaping Vision, I have one of these and I love it. But these ones can be anything from 2 to 2.8 ohms, and if they're on the higher end of that you won't be getting much vapour or throat hit on those either. I would strongly suggest getting 1.8 Rainbows from Vape Escape here: www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-v3-rebuildable~388 and get a few spare heads while you're at it - you can rewick these eventually if you want to, but for the time being it's better to keep it simple and have a new head you can just screw on when the old one gets gunky. Slightly more expensive is a mini Vivi Nova, also from Vape Escape here: www.vapeescape.co.uk/mini-nova~404 but you do get 3 heads with it (1.8, 2.4 and 2.8, use the 1.8 to start with). Or you can try the Nano www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-nano-clearomiser~470 at £3 they're a steal, they hold 1.1ml so not as much as the Rainbow or the Nova but they're cheap and I've heard a lot of good things about them. And I second Chiller's comments about juice. Don't try to find one that tastes like burning baccy, you won't find one. Instead, pick a flavour you like (fruits, custard, apple pie, mint and so on). Grizwald at Vape Escape does 5ml samples you can try out before you buy a big bottle. If you get one you don't like, don't bin it yet - your tastes will change quite dramatically once you've got rid of the rollies and what you hate now you may well love this time next week (and vice versa).

Greeny, your clearos shouldn't leak. Can you tell me where they are leaking from? Top, bottom, mouthpiece, etc.

The T2 with the long wicks are better IMO. If you find the T3 gives a bad taste turn the little rubber bung that's above the wick upside down so it isn't touching the wick it seems to give a better draw and any small bubbling will pass after a few draws. Hope this helps. I'll give that a go right now Taz, thank you. Edited for speeling Replying to myself... Anyhoo, it works! Thanks so much Taz, both my Peppermint Licorice and Italian Cake are now tasting how they ought to. Will upend the bung on all of them. Can't thank you enough - I was going to bin the lot and replace with Rainbows and/or Novas, so you've saved me a fair few pennies!

Thanks chaps.
Macca - no glowing, tank is mostly full - the level is a couple of mm below the top metal band and at the top of the guage (2.6ml). It started completely full and has not been refilled, so it's had 0.4ml through it.
djs - It's not harsh/dry, it just tastes yuk. Oddly, my Nova with Lemon Meringue Pie in it is just starting to taste bad now, but it's had something like 10-15ml through it over a period of maybe 3 weeks tops. The Kanger started tasting awful after a couple of hours and less than 1ml. Hubby vapes too fast, which could explain it (it's his Kanger with the LMP) but this doesn't explain my Peppermint Licorice or my Italian Cake, both of which have been filled for less than 2 days, have had less than 1ml through them and aren't vaped fast.
In a nutshell, the juice tastes tainted - not harsh, dry or burnt. More like there's something nasty in the Kanger itself which is leeching into the juice.
