Cheers Just for the record, I do have an ohms meter thing, it's just a cheapy off ebay, but it's as per recommended in the recoil instructions posted on here.
I've now fitted a 2nd atomiser from my first attempt at recoiling and it's working nicely with the other batteries (it's giving a slightly funny after taste, so might try one more/less coil next time).
I'll try leaving the battery to fully discharge and do a full recharge (might take a quite a few days to be fully discharged by the little blue light)

Ego 650Mah battery or may be an Ego copy, the one with a press three times on/off/power button that lights up blue. May be completely coincidental, but it happened with my first attempt at a recoil (Vivi Nova STV). Recoil didn't appear to work with 2 batteries, but sort of worked with this one, briefly. Anyhow, now the blue button light is permanently lit up on it and on testing with an electrical screwdriver, it's now permanently on. Has it had it? or is there some way of fixing it ie rebooting it so it returns back to being an on/off switch. Could me coiling it wrong have caused the battery to short or something? Thanks Paul

Used Avast for a fair few years with malwarebytes, with no issues. MSE above^ also is highly recommended by people in the know on the forum I frequent.

Decadent Vapours Aromatic Tobacco for me, at the moment. I'm finding most DV liquid very good.

Hi I'm on Decadent vapours and buy 11mg.
I'd probably describe it as like a smokers cough (or like I imagine it, never had one as a smoker), not a proper cough.

Trying to decide whether it's an effect of my lungs clearing or too much vaping.
just to set the scene, 45, I've smoked about 10 a day all my adult life, mostly abstained all day then chain smoked on an evening. Hardly ever get ill, probs get 1 cold a year which 9/10 amounts to nothing and goes pretty quick, so I'm healthy. Started vaping 3 months ago, never smoked since. Thing is, I feel I vape a lot more than I smoked, still only on an evening, but it's pretty much constant for a few hours.
The last few months/weeks I've noticed an irritation on my lungs/wind pipe/throat and a niggly cough, both nothing major, just slight and in the background. wondering whether I'm over doing the vaping or it's the lungs starting to recover
Anyone else had/have this? or some similar experience?.

As above: Open account with photobucket (others are available) upload photos to photobucket copy and paste IMG code from photobucket to here. It's dead easy and you have a photo album which friends and family can look at online

I have the same, coughing and spluttering for the first few vapes each evening (I'm an evening vaper only), put it down to initial irritating of fine hairs in the throat or something.

i started on e-lites and was under the impression the battery(s)/attachment are unique to e-lite, but not sure tbh. There is much better out there tho, but requires a slight leap of faith into non cig-look-a-like (sounds like you are on the right path by re filling them). Bigger batteries and better kit which will give better performance, more smoke, longer use etc, but mostly more like the size of a Cuban Havana than a traditional ciggy.

Have you shown her something like this www.exhalecigarette.co.uk/product-p/eetkw.htm. It might simply be the black and chrome look she doesn't like, she may consider anything in white with a mouthpiece similar to what posh people/film stars used to smoke with, or maybe not.

I do a lot of mountain walking. Never been a heavy smoker, but was regularly on 10 an evening all my adult life (46 now). The last few years I've really noticed my lack of lung capacity to walk up hill and talk, involving lots of gasping and composing my breathing in mid conversation. Anyway, only a month into vaping and no cigs, went away last weekend and noticed a definite difference. Still struggling with breathing a little bit when walking up hill at pace and talking, but nowhere near as bad as before. massive improvement of lung capacity overall it appeared.

Sarah The other issue I had was that if the atomiser thing (with the wick/coil) wasn't screwed on tight, it was unscrewing with the mouthpiece. This might possibly cause a poor contact (with the battery) and possibly liquid to leak out (if partially unscrewed). It seems like you might have experienced all the same problems as I did. I still use mine occasionally

Are you sure you haven't just accidentally turned the battery off? Anyway, the Nova is a better quality build, Mini or Vivi depending on what size tank you want. you might possibly need a little collar as well (not sure if it's just cosmetic or necessary).
