Guys been thinking about some of these recent posts and people talking about getting heard, allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/members i have just added 50 members per page x 74 pages =3700 members on this forum only why on earth don't we start organizing a rally to march on parliament on an important day if someone had the time and motivation to organise this for our forum and every other uk forum then at least we have a chance of being heard i know i would take a day out to fight for our cause maybe even a week and i would also make a small donation towards the printing etc to make this event happen if everyone donated a small amount we could make a big impact. Have we anyone with the time and motivation to organise this ? it would also be a great way for everyone on our forum to meet in person and do something that we are all so passionate about. Would make a change from the race and religion protests ! Regards Rich

Because then we would look like a load of unprofessional hippies who like to protest about anything. The government would ignore us and it would possably make things harder to get overturned in the long run.
We need to do this professionally, through the justice system, then and only if it fails do we march!

Will it not be too late to march by the time it fails, would marching be a great way to gain exposure on how vapers really see it. at the moment all we have is bad press as the only people doing anything are the governments and corporations that are worried about losing revenue. If we marched peacefully and informed all of the press and tryed to get it right out there how many of us are concerned about our health and what regulation would do, would that surely not promote vaping and encourage people to support our cause?

I tend to find marches have the opposite effect, Governments don't like to bow down and show weakness so they do the opposite of what you a marching for.

Look at Fish Fight for example. www.fishfight.net/gained massive exposure and massive support making it impossible for the eu to ignore, it is ok while we stay confined in our forums whining between ourselves but it is public support we need to make ourselves really heard. What other ideas have we . Anyone?

Get them together now, wait to see exactly what we are fighting against and then take em down in one swift blow in court. I wonder when they unite, if it's a bit like the Power Rangers when they all connected together to make that Megazord? lol

If ECCA have ever done anything at all on the political front I haven't heard about it. I'm not sure that they think it is their job. I think a march is a good idea, but I don't know how many we'd get at the moment. Judging by the location of shops most vapers are in the north, and you do have to march in London.

You really do have a downer on them don't you? They are a new committee and if Matt (womble) is anything to go by, will be much more proactive in the future.

Think 'Pasty TAX'
The Government did a U-Turn on that one after the decision had been made.

As I can't walk 10 yards without wheezing and needing to stop and have a rest (a nap?) and a stiff drink!
