I do it the same way as enjay, Not saying the other way doesn't work but I think it's more likely to cause further flooding.I have tried both methods and been doing it this way for about 9 months and it doesn't cause more flooding, give it a try blow through you air hole when its not flooded and see if it floods. Serious question: how could it cause more flooding? Not trying to be argumentative etc, but just sharing what works for me as are enjay & Greg. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Because blowing through the air hole is basically the same as sucking out the mouth piece which sucks juice into the chamber that got flooded in the first place and caused juice to go down the air hole lol

Thankyou VapingBad will give that a try if not will strip them down and re wick Stop! Turn them upside down, blow through the mouth piece while holding a piece of tissue over the air hole, doing it the other way will make things way worse lol I'm sure this is what VapingBad actually meant otherwise you'd just do the same thing as sucking and pull even more juice through, turning them upside down creates an air pocket so you can blow the little flood out without blowing more juice into the situation.

Cloud 9 vaping sell the kfl+ and they're all V2 now, at least the genuine ones. Anyway that'll set you back about £75 with shipping etc added on but it's a dam nice piece of kit.

Albi61 I made my first dual coil with 0.5mm wire recently on a 3mm drill bit. 10 wraps of 0.5mm 3mm dia =1.0 Ohm, dual coil = 0.5 Ohm For a 1 Ohm dual coil 2.4mm dia you'd need a whopping 24/25 wraps. I'll give this a go & see where it takes me, never too old to learn, oh well! The trouble is when you have rip trippers quoting 24 gauge kanthal, our measurements for Kanthal is totally different to the Yanks. Just use the chart www.technick.net/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=guide_awg_to_metricIt's american wire gauge and 24G is around 0.5mm but it's serious wire to get dual coils at 1 ohm. This is 9 wraps per coil of the 0.5mm stuff and it's at 0.17 ohms

enjayGot my 0.32 Kanthal through the post today. Test coiled my Igo-W (had to get shot of that 0.2 Ohm coil I'm afraid), and got a 1 Ohm dual coil straight off the bat. That should work well in most of my mods now. Sweet. Not to re-coil all my Kayfuns / Kayfun clones... Coolio, that 0.23mm stuff was just plain hard work ti make anything worthwhile lol

Hi Guys. after watching numerous video's on YouTube on builds for the Tobh Atty I noticed they were using 24g kanthal A1 wire for there coils, I decided to buy some Kanthal A1 Heat Resistance Wire - 0.5mm (500 Micron or 24 AWG) but not sure how many wraps I'd need around a 2.4mm micro screw driver for a 1ohm dual coil set up, can anyone give me an helping hand, please...
Wrong wire bud, you'll never get the ohms that low with that wire, dual coils of say 10 wraps each is still way down around 0.1-0.2 ohms. For what you want I'd highly recommend something like the 0.32mm or 0.34mm.

Mini protank ...:-( enjay..... It's driving me crazy Ah, they're a pain in the dark hole imo. But, the chances are the legs aren't quite straight or something and are hitting off the sides or the ends where you've snipped the legs are catching on the sides of the base when they're screwed in most likely. Are you torching the coil and squeezing it? Also whatever you wind around, leave it through the coil till it's all fitted nicely, centre the coil then carefully remove the tool and double check the coil is still centred after it's wicked. Remember and stick and extra bit of wick over the top of the coil too before fitting the chimney. They'll still leak, gurgle, spit juice into your mouth etc eventually, protank coils just seem to no matter what but you should get some sort of decent vape out of it for a while at least. I'd recommend checking out other atties though, something properly rebuildable but still small to suit your battery.

Drill another air hole for duals or you could make a lower ohm single coil, if all you have is thinner wire then take a length, fold it over, twist the two loose ends together and stick a pen or something in the hoop and twist. Once twisted tightly you can then wrap a new coil with it, should bring the ohms down a bit.

Sorry needed to vent ...I don't know what I'm doing wrong ......but they leak or the resistance jumps all over the shop ........think I'll just buy some pre wound ones from Naturevape or fasttech ...... What atty are they for?

To high a PG can also cause a bit of a harsh throat hit as well as the flavouring, try some other juice for now and see if it's any better
