If the ban is just in the UK it is really NOT going to be hard to source the liquid from other places - China - Janty Netherlands - Freesmoke Spain and that is exactly what I will do.
TW is now producing liquid from a laboritory in the US - very snazzy packaging , its having a vaping taste party on Sun 14th.
I also think they cannot just ban it outright but will have to go through parliament so you are potentially looking at 2011 before it would come in to effect.

ragjoy is correct re the blowing sucking method.
Glycerene is gooey thick stuff if you use too much it is not kind to your atomiser.
These batteries and their internals are well not exactly built to last. Inside the top there is a switch and if it gets all gooed up it can stick if it sticks on what you are experiencing happens.
Blow from the LED end put a tissue at the other end - Blow hard untill you feel like the top of your head will come off and you have a red face red face .
You can also try tapping it gently on a hard surface .

Foxy. The thread was from Nov and I am pretty sure if they were selling duff ones there would have been lots of Neg posts about them by now. I also noticed BatteryJunction in the US sell these and I doubt they would if there was a history of explosions.
Scylla Dont you go worrying about exploiting anyone. They need the money, even child labour which is wrong yes but if they dont work who feeds the family . You wont help them by starving them.

Hi Nick Oh my - everyone is so organised and meeeee well .... Umm I vape about 20ml liquid a week . Sort of replace carts every 4 days if I remember, tbh they more often get changed cos I lose them or the filling falls out I never clean them Never clean the atomisers either. I put 2-3 drops liquid on the cart vape 5 - 7 draws and repeat . I carry a janty 10 ml bottle about that I decant about 3ml (2 droppers full ) in to as I require it or before I go out. Got various bottles stashed in drawers - boxes - plastic - bags - pockets .... as I find them I use them Dont think I would ever be organised enough to prefill carts. I did save all the caps and silicon thingies in a box cos I am a hoarder and hate waste. Lady in the US bought the lot Moral of the story throw nuffing away , someone somewhere will need it some day.

Chrissie I gave Foxy the link to the UltraFire batteries.
Trog used them last year when testing the prototypes of the MK11 and he says they work fine and he has purchased from that website with no problems.

The battery TW sell is protected and designed by Trog specially for the MK11 .
The Orange Batteries in the link are unprotected , they do however fit the SD MK 11 and work in it .
When buying from China or anywhere outside Europe you have a £18 allowance on goods before you pay duty and Vat.
So unless you are buying as Chrissie says a large quantity there will be no charge .

WooHoo Well done ragjoy
Remember you are unlikely to receive any product you order from China untill the end of the month , may even be mid March depending on how many back orders they have to deal with.

In theory 4-5 carts should equate to 20 cigarettes.
In practice you are not going to be able to vape all the liquid out of a cart before it starts to under perform.
This may explain why you are going through so many.
The Q what liquid is in the carts..... Have seen it asked many times and not seen a 100% conclusive answer. The threads are on the ECF which is now like a minefield to find anything .
Dont know how many factories make the carts and if they are filled in the factory that makes them or elsewhere.
Who did you get the carts from ?.
I have seen suppliers say it is virginia liquid in them but as there are different brands of it its hard to say who`s brand is in them.
I would hazard a guess at Dekang as they supply 85 - 90% of all liquid made in China.
Next problem if you place a large enough order they will blend the liquid to your specifications. So different suppliers sell liquid of the same name that can be a very different flavour.
I know its not the answer you were looking for but its the only one I got ....... Sooweee

Scylla there is not much to add The MK 1 SD now comes with a removable switch so if you do break it, it is easy to replace......... or it should be The Classic SD is a 801 and NOT a special kit , the 801 atomiser delivers more flavour but has less oomph it is also larger than the other models, unless you particularly like this model I would stick with researching the 901/mini or the 510 .

Agree with the other posts it is down to what you perceive looks good and does the job for you.
I love my ScrewDriver to me it is sexy and looks like a work of art - is well balanced - feels good & it simply works . I use it 24 hrs a day, it goes everywhere with me, I actually feel a lot more comfortable using it than I did the 901 .
Most of the mods are just battery holders so you have to decide what looks good to you and will do the job. You wont know what feels good till you try it.
They will all feel a bit odd for the first few hours but, imho anything with a button is a big + .

Going to be difficult to do a poll on flavours as there are so many.
1 British Bulldog (Simon ) e-Cigs.co.uk - I vaped this liquid day in day out for many many months - Sep 2009 JC who make it in the US changed the recipie, I am still waiting patiently for them to get their act together and bring the old formula back.
2. State Express/555 (Jason) Totally Wicked - Been vaping this pretty consistently since Oct 2008 and it does the job with a good hit - I always have a couple of bottles to hand.
3. Janty Fargo - Janty netherlands - Nice liquid more of a tobacco flavour than the 555 but only comes in 10 ml bottles .
I always when possible have the above 3 in stock so I guess they must be my favourites.

If the light is consistently green the charger is telling you it thinks the battery is fully charged.
It will stop charging when it thinks they are charged.
If however the charge drops off a bit the charger will go back to red and start to charge again - must say I have never witnessed one do this .
Be aware if the charger developes a fault then its a whole new ball game and it could catch fire, also if the battery developes a fault there is the possibility of an explosion.
To be 100% safe with any litium battery you should never leave it unattended i.e. charging while you go out or are sleeping - it is also advisable to try have the charger - especially if left unattended - far away from flammible material - even better in a metal box .
Most people dont do any of the above and have no problems with their batteries.
I saw the trickle charge comments on the ECF I use a NANO charger, all my spiderfire batteries are trickle charged and in over a year it has not caused them any problems.
