I bought some nic base from Vapers Emporium last week, it was delivered via Royal Mail. I ordered 500ml though - not sure if the RM will handle such a large quantity? . . . I made an error, the nic base was from the Alchemists Cupboard, I'm getting my vendors mixed up.

Transport for London don't allow vaping on buses and the tube, JD Wetherspoons don't allow vaping in their pubs establishments. It's still fairly draconian.

It's been cats and dogs in St Ratford all day, most of the gutters are deep enough to canoe in.

I'd give that, and ones like it a swerve, open them up and inside is a small battery powered motor which sets up vibrations in the water. Proper ultrasound devices use a transducer to generate the energy required. A bit like using a hand held squirty bottle to clean a dirty bike wheel instead of a jet washer.

I use one of these... it's a good soldering iron and has lasted a lot of (ab)use. Changeable tips for soldering, or torch with adjustable flame: It's not cheap, but I'll be buying another when it gives up the ghost. This ones been going for 4 years or more, so it's pretty good value. www.maplin.co.uk/p/pro-iroda-solder-pro-70-gas-soldering-iron-n95ap
I had thought of this , but after having a Pro-Iroda ( the one I got in my original post ) I think their quality control is suspect to say the least , so I won't be getting one of these.
With gas products , I'll go with safety and then price , as long as it does the job.Once bitten twice shy and all that.
Andy
I'll buy nothing from Maplin. Way, way overpriced on virtually everything they stock.

Looks good, but I think 'Iron Melting' is just a wee tad optimistic .

I quite like Todd's reviews, close yer eyes and it could be Shrek conducting them (no offence meant to Todd BTW)! Paulymeatballs' slideshows are good quality, sharp photo's and all the basic info. Rip Tripper is just plain bonkers, and so over the top it's compulsive viewing. He does seem to know his stuff though.

I just stuck mine in the cupboard under the stairs for a couple of weeks and gave them a shake up once per day. I did notice that the banana flavour started off quite clear at first but was a reassuring shade of yellow by the time I was ready to vape it, plus the cupboard reeked of banana even though the lid was screwed on tight and the juice was in a plastic ziploc bag. Powerful stuff.....

I ordered two 5v micro USB 1A 18650 Lithium battery charging board + protection @ $2.78 for the pair from TxHang electronic via e bay on 08/08/14. They arrived today, these are a perfect size (25mmX20mm) for box mods. Here is a review link Around £0.80 pence per unit? Cheap as chips! Even cheaper if you buy ten @ $9.66 works out to around £0.58p each!

One way to repair a crack like that is to get hold of a piece of veneer that matches the timber the mods made from, and cut a small strip from it. Coat the strip in any decent woodworking PVA glue and work the strip into the gap. If you have gotten any debris in the crack or juice residue you'll need to scrape it out with something thin first. Aim to get the strip flush with the inside if possible because that area is the most difficult to clean up afterwards. Wrap the whole thing with rubber bands until the glue is dry.
Once the glue is set, take the bands off and trim the veneer almost flush with the outside face, if your mod has a varnished finish you wont want to sand that off, so a strip of masking tape either side of the repair will protect the finish while you carefully sandpaper the strip flush, you could scrape it flush with a Stanley knife blade if you felt confident enough.
If the crack is really small then I'd clamp the thing together to close the crack up, mask both sides as above. and apply a narrow bead of good quality thin superglue, this will wick into the crack nicely. Apply sparingly! a little goes a long way. A quick squirt of activator if you have any will set the glue instantly, or just leave it for half an hour or so to set fast.
Superglue is also a brilliant spot filler for damaged lacquer finishes.
That's yer lot! Otherwise I'll get lynched by the guitar repair fraternity for giving away trade secrets.

I've never had a problem with anything from China, I buy badger hair shaving brushes from a Chinese vendor who supplies the big names over here and have never had any extra charges from customs or RM. Why would you want to shave your badger? He looks terribly scruffy with a three day growth.
