Tried fiddling about with the spring, and also tried the bottom cap from an old Vamo 2. Peering up inside the V5, there appears to be a crumbly filler pr packing material up there, surrounding the post. Is this normal? I haven't got a Vamo but I suspect that 'crumbly filler surrounding the post' is insulation material and shouldn't be crumbly. Maybe its causing the post to short out?

You have to look at each recommendation you make in terms of what the OP needs them for and how much they understand. A person who is upgrading from ego/evod and wants batteries and charger to go with a VTR from myepack, its better IMO to say 'just tick the option for the RED batteries and the nitecore'. Being that there is plenty of time ahead to find out about all the different batteries, and those will be fine until the next upgrade. When its a new mech user, a bit more investigating is needed and maybe a crash coarse in batteries is more beneficial than a simple recommendation, as you can recommend all you like but it may not stop someone choosing something unsuitable.
very good idea but I don't have the time sorry working 20 hour shifts at the moment I can only get the info for you from works computer if someone wants to do it I can check it daily and keep it safe I would do that if someone wants to start it I wasn't meaning you do it ronaldo. Its what I do when I see someone asking about batteries.

Erm... four new drip tips arrived today and I, erm, might be expecting another seven this week... At least they are cheap, well they are from FT. I tend to buy 4 or 5 every time I order from them.

We are lucky to have you ronaldo, I see many people recommending those unmentionable batteries just because they are they paid for them, they are the only high-drains they have and it's human nature to back their choice. I just hope there are not many extreme sub-ohmers using them believing the pulse rating to be the continuous. You have to look at each recommendation you make in terms of what the OP needs them for and how much they understand. Thanks Hijack, I placed an order with LT last night so I'm planning to phone them this morning and asking if they could send some wire with that. My local vape shop (Vapourized in St Austell) doesn't stock wick material or coil wire. For some reason that link I put in my last post didn't go to where it should have. I have fixed it now.

can't go far wrong with a Innokin VTR Been looking at those on the net. They seem to get good reviews but they look a bit "plasticy". Are they well built? 'Plasticy'. They are anything but. They could easily stop a bullet, I kid you not, and would still work after stopping the bullet.
No seriously they are pretty tough and pretty heavy as well, made of thick caste metal parts.
But if you don't mind spending a bit more the vapourshark is very cool, its smaller, lightweight, and is a 30watt mod. Does only have a 1200mah internal battery but the ones out in the US take an 18650 but are more expensive. Greyhaze vapourshark
There are other cheaper options m-vapes has those Hana 30w clones for £60 and have the new IPV2 50watt for £65. Don't think they would be as tough as a VTR if you accidently whack them with a sledgehammer, but hey! how often is that going to happen.

Hi silasI use LTecigs liquids and sometimes go for 2 weeks before doing a dry burn and rewick without any problem. I know NV use nr-r-nr wires, but you could use plain A1 kanthal to make the coils with. You would find that you could use thicker wire than the premade nr-r-nr ones, and they would have a better lifespan, and the wire is cheaper than premade welded wires I use a .30 or .32 wire to get 1.5 Ohm coils. You may as well use the ones you have, but bookmark vape-atomizer-mesh for when you need more wire.

I think an ego would count as an internal battery in an electronic device.
I cant think of a reason you cant, which law do you think might prevent you doing this?
If its this thing about batteries in devices on aircraft, its only devices in hand luggage that you need to prove if the battery works.

So, they have thrown $2 billion at these products and expect to sell 30 billion units. Methinks someone in upper management has a long nose and their pants are on fire. Really is that what someone is saying? so everyone in the world is going to have 5 of them. Cant be very reliable if your going to need to buy 5.

Try mixing aniseed into things 10-15%, its quite nice in fruit flavours or tobacco flavours.
