my evic mini works great with Ni200 and a Subtank, recognises a new coil, the temp settings are good, decent performance.
However titanium is a different matter, the resistance doesn't come close even after leaving the rba in the fridge. It works fine with a dripper but not with a subtank 0.16 reads 0.25 even though my other mods read the same coils to within 0.02. It fires wildly almost full power or not at all and won't ask same/new coil.
Have I found the glitch in its firmware?

I bought a nano tank and as my Subtank mini wouldn't work with THE OCC ni200 coils used it with them on a I stick 40. their rating was over the nano's recommended wattage plus with the 40w fixed setting it got warm but still not like a TFV4.

thanks for the reasurance regarding the colour, yes thats roughly the colour mine is, sort of a straw-pink leaves me in a quandry, my measuring has been spot on and if anything with being a novice I've erred on the safe side and rounded down to first decimal ie 3.75ml > 3.7ml. I've used the calculator every time, no guessing even if I do know the quantity of nic to make 30ml of 3/6/9/12mg. oh well......I'm going to reorder from my original supplier for confidence and make a big xmas batch of custard when my Capella GB flavours arrive. otherwise it vape...vape..vape only 350ml to go. Are nic testing kits available? I've looked and they all seem to be out of stock

When started mixing I used my first small batch of 72 nicotine up fairly quickly and bought some more from a different supplier. The first batch was clear and the second had a slightly pinkish tint to it, being a newb I thought very little of the colour difference as it happens with a lot of products. Anyway I've had a touch of the vapers tongue and changed to some readymade juices in order to kick start the taste buds and to be honest they have kicked my butt. Ok they were 12mg and I've been mixing 9mg with a few 12mg and 15mg for non sub-ohming but I have even been using a few old 18mg juices in the goblin. So 20 mins after using some week old 12mg Harvest Berry & Koolada I rewicked and opened up a month old bottle of Lairy's Sweet Vanilla Scream in 10mg. And I had a good blast on the same dripper with a 1 ohm parallel, blooming delicious. But I've just spent twenty minutes with a spin on and I don't feel as if I'm going need another vape soon. Now none of the juices from the second batch of nic have done this to me, in fact I've been puffing away in huge clouds of vapour like a nutter on subtanks and drippers totally unsatisfied. I've gone through silly amounts of juice over the last week, I filled my subtanks for the second time today, dripped my way through 5ml of 14mg in my lunch break and changed out the batteries in my D2 and evic when I got home. I've even upped the nic percentage in some of the newer juices thinking that between work and looking after my father who is in the early stages of dementure was just stressing me out. Even (stupidly) dripping away at 14mg with pairs of claptons or big Ni200 coils has been totally free of nic-sickness. I've just been OMG my nicotine resistance has gone through the roof and by the time I finally put my feet up I could kill for a stinkie. So I'm thinking either the 72 nic wasn't 72 or something is not right as my newer batches of juice have no hit and the flavour is way off ( perhaps its not vapers tongue?) Worse still there is still 350ml of kreeds that has been steeping for weeks made with it.

it's probably my taste buds but I've had a bit of a flavour change. last week the custard was coming through rather dry and then I started to get the NY cheesecake quite strong. cakey biscuity with a hint of chocolate even the smokers could smell it. Yesterday and today the vape has become quite bland with no distinctive notes. time for a change?

Touch of vapers tongue? I get days when nothing tastes right and usually end up going back to some 13sins Trixi ( which I now wish I had left to steep)
what nic levels are you vaping and at what sort of power? maybe its time to step down or go back to lower wattage?

not sure, a few of the premium? juice makers recommend mech mods and 1.4-1.8ohm coils to get the best out of their products,
silica wick is something I have been thinking about, would it work with TC? Might it be easier to wrap around??
I've vaped Kreeds in tanks and drippers often as not its down to my personal taste at the time. I have a 0.6ohm clapton in my subtank mini which gives a nice all day cloudy vape without any gunking up, nearly 10 days on the same coil and wick so bit of a record for me. I have a Manabush juice in my goblin mini which I prefer over the nautilus anyway but it will get a new coil and filled with some custard someday soon. I'm also dripping it over single or dual Ni200 coils, claptons, twists, parallel and 30g microcoils and every one has its own taste.

At minimum resistance they may be able to hit 200w but it would depend on the accuracy of the chip settings. From what I've read on the sigelei 150tc it would be fair to believe the 200w might suffer the same 10-15% increase in power loss over 100w

I'd say that you would want to up the vg, I know it means slightly less flavour and more vapour if you are looking to be stealthy but I started on 50/50 and found that rough. I'm using 70% vg at 12-15mg now, smooth as now but rather cloudy.

I had the same with my evic mini and a dual 26g parallel, I put the wrong rda on it and thought wth. It was running nicely on a 150w sigelei at 65w but the evic battery meter dropped like a stone. Chalk one up to experience. The full 75w is only of any use in tc mode because it pulses the power. Same can be done with larger coils, just pulse the coil up to working temp and have a spare battery ready.
