Hello. I don't know if I should be posting here? I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong place. I'm new here, although I've been vaping a while. I'm off to read up on posts old & new to settle myself in and find my way round. I hope!

Hi Jo, and welcome. I hope you have made a large pot of coffee and filled your popcorn bucket (or whatever other pondering munchies you prefer.) There is a lot to read, but all so worthwhile to do. It took me two days reading, asking questions etc. before appreciating that I wanted to give this a go, and then to decide what to order. A lot of threads cover that. There are quite a lot of us newbies here, all of whom have had huge success almost from day 1 of becoming a vaper. So do come and join us.

Hello Jo & welcome And don't worry about where you post. Everyone is welcome to either post on existing threads or start new ones What model e-cig are you using?

First of all, hello to Jo and a big thank you to Jaki. It was so kind of you to offer to send some liquid if mine didn't arrive. Happily James turned out just as reliable as you all said, and mine was here Wednesday morning (well, afternoon, we don't get our post here until about 1pm!) I said here on Wednesday that I was already quite impressed. I got through 7 'real' cigs that day, and so far only 3 today. What has really delighted me is that I've found today that when I feel like a smoke I reach for my ecig although it lives side by side at the moment with my packet of cigarettes. I've still got lots to learn, and some stocking-up to do, but so far so very good. I've been wondering today - would an ecig set off those smoke alarms that have been put in certain no-smoking zones?

No, there's nothing in e-cig vapour to set off smoke alarms - peeps have smoked (EDIT - I mean "vaped"!!!) in aeroplane toilets without being detected It sounds like you've made a great start, Inn - I would just relax and see how you go, unless you come across problems, in which case we are here to help Well done! scylla

Thank you for the welcome. I use the 801 and have about 8 on the go right now. I am now looking to buy something that doesn't break or become faulty. A tall order.

Oh it sounds like you are doing so well Inn Jo, so much depends on how much you feel comfortable about paying for a virtually none breakable device, plus whether size matters And unfortunately though, the atomisers will always be the weakest part - none of them last that long.

I don't mind too much about the size. I would tend to buy the most reasonably priced, virtually non breakable device. Thank you in advance.
